![]() ![]() ![]() What a wonderful story! It was a while ago, but thank you so much for writing and sharing it. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I'm glad you wrote a conversation between Colonel Fitzwilliam and Darcy; somewhat heartbreaking, but helpful in drawing things together. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This is beautiful. I've read a lot of variations, but never one that included these scenes from the 1995 adaptation, especially where we get an insight into what Darcy may have been thinking. His parents presence adds to the observations, without being obtrusive. Nicely written! |
![]() ![]() ![]() This chapter really brings home the loss experienced by Darcy and Georgiana on the death of their parents. To see how life could have been stands in stark contrast to the loneliness and quiet which muct have been experienced at Pemberley in the book. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I'm enjoying the way the story so far is fleshing out Darcy's later comments to Elizsbeth: "I have been a selfish being all my life, in practice, though not in principle. As a child I was taught what was right, but I was not taught to correct my temper. I was given good principles, but left to follow them in pride and conceit." I like the way that his parents are not to blame per se, rather they have misunderstood their reticent son, and he has misunderstood their values. |
![]() ![]() ![]() These opening chapters are so engaging. I've never come across a variation where Darcy's parents are still alive; such a simple twist, but so profound a change. I'm looking forward to seeing how the rest of the story unfolds. |
![]() ![]() ![]() gosh I love your story! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Awesome, thank you! |
![]() ![]() Hi, I would just like to say I have re-read this story and it’s series over and over again. I can’t help but constantly fall in love with it all over again. The way you write both Lizzy and Darcy makes my heart swell and the hopeless romantic in me sigh in happiness. Thank you for sharing your incredible talent with the world and especially to the people who love Pride and Prejudice and all the different ways people change and evolve the story into their own beautiful piece of work. Thank you, thank you, thank you! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Lovely story, beautifully written! I never imagined I'd enjoy a story so much that had Darcy's parents still living, with him actually NEEDING their parenting. They were a terrific addition to your plot. Even more surprising was how much I liked Mr. Bennet, as he is rarely seen in a good light. Excellent work. On to the sequel! |
![]() ![]() ![]() es la segunda vez que la leo y la he disfrutado como cuando tuve la suerte de encontrarte. me gusta mucho todo lo que escribes |

![]() ![]() This was a lovely chapter and made me wish that I might have discovered that book before my wedding. Thanks for sharing. Stay well! |
