This. THIS. Oh my god. I was completed sucked in right from the start but when this mystery plot started forming in the early chapters? I knew I couldn’t put this down. The world you’re slowly creating within canon gives so much more nuance. I absolutely love this! The way you’re writing Harriet’s relationship with everyone is being done so so well. I’m so excited to see how Paul and Harriet get out this one!

And side note I loved your explanation on what the Wendigo means and what the undercurrent themes of this story are, and your decision to not have Jasper in this pairing makes so much sense.

It's beautiful, I'm glad someone has similar feelings about the indigenous people. It's horrible how much some communities are still mistreated and exploited. I wish people were kinder and more understanding. This story is different, and thanks to that all the more precious . Thank you for taking it upon yourself and creating something so incredibly spooky and true. As someone who was met with lots of antisemitism, rasizm and bullying I must agree with your description of greed. It spreads like rot, and is very hard to eliminate. Generational trauma is a problem that isn't talked about enough, traumas are very hard to heal and get over with, and in a way they stay with you for life.

I can't wait for the rest of the story, I absolutely love it.

I hope this story gets updated again at some point. I have really enjoyed it and really want to read more and I hope you keep up the good work!

You're killing me! I know they have to survive otherwise why would you worry about Jasper. But dang it I need to know how. 2 years and still this cliff hanger. It doesn't help that the first time I read this chapter it was winter I was all by myself it was after midnight and I have a very active imagination. I need to you stop me jumping at shadows every time I even think of this fic. Really love this fic and hoping you will continue it. I still have so many questions.

This book is soo… i dont know how to describe it, Enthralling, terrifying, enrapturing ? Its honestly all of that and more and all i can say is that your an amazing author, i have never read a book and actually been so scared i need to turn on every light in my room and have my back up agains something.

Eu simplesmente amei a história, uma pena que não tenha tido mais capítulos dês de 2021 e é uma pena maior que não seja uma história original e que não está em prateleiras de loja porque... céus é simplesmente fantástico e realmente me passa uma vibe de terror, ação, fantasia e mistério que eu leria mesmo morrendo de medo por conta das coisas macabras acontecendo, eu até assistiria a um maldito filme disso!

A história toca em tantos pontos diferentes que eu fico animada e esqueço completamente que ela tem um enredo meio terror/Horror, cujo eu tenho muito medo e aflição por sinal, ela toca em um ponto da cultura indígena que simplesmente me deixa feliz por não ser como as outras histórias onde nós povos indígenas e até descendentes não somos só uma história de fundo ou um degrau para um protagonista branco leigo sobre nossas diferentes culturas e povos. Sou de descendência indígena e embora não saiba nada sobre a qual povo ou tribo minha família descendente eu fico feliz em ver e ler sobre temas e histórias nos representando, gostaria de saber mais sobre minha descendência indígena mas como não tenho meios, e minha avó provavelmente não se lembre de alguma informação útil sobre o dito assunto, eu me contento aprendendo histórias de outros povos, outras tribos, outras culturas que são tão similares quanto são diferentes.

Acho incrível como você retrata esses temas, assim como fez essa versão feminina do Harry, nunca vi nenhuma história onde o Harry representasse tão bem sua descendência indígena (nisso eu estou falando das histórias com o plot dele ser um quileute, etc. Desculpe se tiver escrito errado) e realmente sinta na pele a situação da sociedade em relação as pessoas com um tom mais moreno e escuro de pele, normalmente ele é o santo branco leigo que usa a história de uma cultura indígena de escada ou simplesmente uma história de fundo. Aqui o assunto foi abordado com uma clareza incrível além de ser bem fundido com a escrita da história que quase passa despercebido que era isso que estava sendo abordado, diferente das histórias onde te empurram a cultura indígena (No caso de história com tema de Harry em crepúsculo e ele sendo um metamorfo/transmorfo, shifter para facilitar a compreensão geral, empurrar a cultura Quileute) na sua cara com pontas quebradas na escrita, e uma óbvia uma falta de pesquisa enorme se você olhar, e que obviamente não compactuam com os temas abordados pelo enredo no início da história até o ponto onde simplesmente você é jogado a contragosto em informações sobre uma cultura que simplesmente parece desconfortável de se ler só por não fazer sentido nenhum com a forma em que foi mostrada. (Acho que divaguei um pouco e peço desculpas por isso)

Voltando ao que eu estava dizendo, acho incrível e maravilhoso que você fez diferente de outras dezenas de histórias originais e até fanfictions sobre Quileute!Harry, e também agradeço por isso pois está e estava ficando simplesmente chato ver um branquelo (não que eu possa falar muito por ser parda, embora mais caída pro moreno se deixe eu dizer, só sou pálida por falta de vitaminas e viver trancada em um quarto onde o sol é a última coisa que bate) de "aparente descendência próxima" indígena, e com próxima me refiro a um dos pais ser um óbvio indígena e não um descendente, usar a história e cultura de um povo como apoio para pura balela e fantasia irracional. Porque não sei da onde tiram que é uma ideia boa meter uma pessoa que não sabe de nada, e não tem nem interesse genuíno em aprender, no meio de um povo e cultura diferente, porque é assim que eu interpreto a maioria das histórias em que Harry é um Quileute ou onde um branco na maioria das vezes na fase da adolescência, ou pré fase adulta mais conhecida como jovem adulta, vai parar no meio ou perto de uma reserva indígena. E por favor não me lembre das histórias onde esses mesmos protagonistas leigos vão parar no meio de uma ilha ou floresta dominada por alguma tribo canibal, pois embora eu sei que essas tribos existam, acho algo de péssimo gosto de leitura e até mesmo arte cinematográfica que existam coisas mostrando isso.

E uma pergunta, porque sempre que fazem filmes sobre um bando de gente comendo da própria espécie, esses filmes usam o povo indígena pra abordar e apoiar o assunto? As pessoas se esquecem das outras dezenas de canibais não indígenas que existem e existiram no mundo?, acabei de parar pra perceber isso (e absolutamente não sei como fui de te elogiar por um ótimo trabalho para uma reclamação de história com canibais ).

this is an interesting story, the wendigo plot creeped me out a bit for someone who doesn't know much about myth and folklore outside of SEA. i hope you haven't completely abandoned this story or any of your stories bcs you're an amazing author (btw i have read all of your fem!harry stories).

I can't bear it anymore; this is a love-hate relationship. Whenever I read a good story, I like to go to the author's page to see if I find any other good stories. At first, it was a pleasant surprise to find yours, and over time, my thought was, 'Of course it's yours, you write amazingly.' Now, I can't help but think, 'Damn it! Why did it have to be yours?'

I'm hooked on fifteen of your stories (When You Need Me, Tangerine Chess Pie, Divine Derivation, In the Shadow of the Red Kings, Pushing Up Daisies, Hands and Hearts, Glitch, Hunting Season, The Black Spot, Branded with Blood, Curdled Cream, Dandelion Wine, For The Love of Molly Weasley, Anthology of Anarchy, and Seaglass Serpents). I follow you on Fanfiction, and I follow you on AO3. And since you continue to publish, I had hope that someday you would pick up those stories again, but this is like the twentieth time I'm reading Hunting Season, and you haven't updated it.

I know it's not your responsibility to update it; you have every right to abandon a story. But for my mental health and peace of mind, I've decided not to read any of your stories again.
