I'll be a little upset if there's really no redemption for Arthas. I appreciate how cyclical everything has been, but it'd be worse than tragic if Arthas died again feeling damned. Hopefully Sansa's reaction will spark something in him. Killing Joffrey was not the same as his father, and he shouldn't feel the same guilt.

Well I will keep my thoughts brief since I am not sure if you read these comments.

I think Arthas is heading right into meeting a shadow baby, but unlike Renly in another timeline he is not quite so defenseless. Will he meet the magical attack with the light or shadow of his own however?

And Arthas is pretty casual about the breach of the wall, maybe he thinks it really is just a dream? And ofc it could be but somehow I doubt it. The others are way ahead of schedule but seems they sensed Arthas and his knowledge which might have alarmed them and pushed them into action.

Finally I am guessing that while you call back a lot to Arthas' journey to darkness that it is ultimately a red herring. He might even have another moment of darkness where he will be tempted but I don't see him falling twice.

Or maybe I am wrong on all accounts, looking forward to finding out ;)

Oh look it's the exact same thing Jaina told Arthas at the beginning of the Stratholme incident. (well I hope Arthas won't break from this.)

Oh, that was quick, I was pleasantly surprised.

Props to Arthas for making the mature choices here, even if he is making them out of guilt and self loathing as much as common sense.

Tyrion as Master of Whisperers? I like the guy and he is very competent in general, but I highly doubt he is the right man for the job. Though to be fair there is no obvious right guy for the job. And anyone Arthas appoints is doomed anyway because Varys is most certainly in the shadows waiting to undermine any fletching spy network.
