That ending was a banger

Man. I really hope this story has a happy ending for Arthas. I don't see how though. As nobody knows of his crimes, none but himself can forgive him for them. And he's just not going to, even if he wins this war.

Your penchant for incorporating canon dialogues in between normal dialogues is starting to rub off on me...
Imagine Arthas heeding Oleana's advice and handpicking his co-sufferers in paperwork hell.

Hours later when it is time to call it a day and head to blissful sleep, Arthas instead yells , "No one goes home until our job here is done!", To a cachphony of collective groans.

Just make him the Lich King already. You've destroyed what little hope there was of retribution in the story, just get the bullshit over with. At this point I'm believing Mal'ganis or some other demon of the Burning Legion brought Arthas here instead of the Light with all the needless death going on. Such bullshit!

I love this story! Ironically but Arthas really could be a great king and led Vasteras in a new golden age.
Plus some reforms from Lordaeron, the judiciary, etc. Although with the marriage of his sister, he could have shown more firmness, as for example Arthas thinks in the first chapters about the cells of repentance. Tyrells have little choice and therefore accept any bone. Tommen and Margaery could get married. Also a prince and also a royal family and because of his age, problems are postponed to the future. Even nursing babies have already been married in history.
