A well written story but Arthas just feels so lame. I get that he's a broken man after the horrors he's experienced but I would of hoped that he would come out all the stronger for it with a burning hatred for undead and a burning love for his people.

I had so much to comment, but I was too busy binging to do so (plus I have a cold abd this alone is yoo much, much less the essay I wanted to leave you).
Off the top of my head, I loved the relationship our MC had eith Joff. Joff genuinely loved and relied on him. Joff was so malleable that he could have ruled as a shadow king if he had more ambitions. This really surprised me because it's so easy to completely villainize him and many authors of the fandom tend to take the hostile relationship route.
What else... hm..hmm... Sansa. I surprisingly liked her. Don't get me wrong, Sansa is my favorite character, how could she not be when one can argue she won the game of thrones. However, she had to deal with a lot to get there so I've never been much interested in her character's pre-LF. Not to say Sansa would not have the potential get there in a more gentler way but I don't think I have the patience to read that, so I often dismiss her character. Your Sanda is still naive but... I don't know the word. I mean I can see the potential for her development.
