Wha... you can't stop there! What are you doing to me? If you have another idea brewing, it had better be something that continues this night. Squirmy, desperate Anne and bucking, wolfish Gilbert! Is there anything better? Uh, that would be no.
Ok, so now I've got my thoughts together, can I just say how much your love for Maud's world just shines in everything you write. I can't think of another writer who would take as much care over the lights glowing warmly beneath the Ingleside veranda, as she would with the... how do I put this? Hotness!
It might sound weird but I couldn't help think of a story I wrote a while back, only it was Diana nursing, not Anne. As I wrote it a part of me wanted Gilbert and Diana to give into this feeling brewing between them. Of course I didn't, and now it doesn't matter because your story has totally relieved that nagging itch. And HOW! I have always loved the way you write about these two when they are in the throes of passion, and always wonder how you manage to make it new every time. This time we had an Anne and Gilbert who have moved beyond discovering each other, and now know EXACTLY what to do to drive the other to desperation. It isn't all lust, there is humour too, and trust, but I think what I love most is how in love they are, and how much they adore each other.
The idea of them pleasuring each other, when it must have been quite a few months since they had made love, was genius. Sort of like a way to get to know each other's bodies again. There was also something so typically Anne and Gilbert about it. I'm not saying they were competing, but then again, maybe there was a little bit of that. Ha ha!
It's hard to think of a favourite bit, but I think the part where Anne thought she might faint, did it for me, as did Gilbert's unh. So very FKAJ! Welcome back, babe, here's hoping we get a part two to this very very soon.

How fortunate Anne was to have Susan and Leslie there to tend to Jem so they could have that first night together in their new home without interruption.
Just yesterday at work we were discussing ‘Irish twins.’
My first born was colicky and the first 3 months were a blur to me what with struggling to nurse and hormones out of whack I was such a mess. Things def got better when he was out of the newborn phase tho. I even learned how to take a pee and nurse at the same time.
I told the other nurses that back then if I’d been given the choice between having hot sex or a hot shower I’d have gone with the shower, hands down.
However, I can look back on it all now and smile tenderly at the memory of my husband and I doing the best we could to adjust to our new roles as parents.
You are right, no one has ever really explored A and G’s first few months as new parents and you’ve done a beautiful job here.

I’m looking forward to whatever else you conjure up for us in the future!

At the beginning I thought they were going to conceive Walter, but instead you pivoted and we got truly hot scenes of them pleasuring each other instead. I love that Anne wore her special nightgown and how sweet is baby Jem. And of course I would love another chapter!
