The politics is like.. "I want A!", while the other side goes "No, I want B!", which is then responded with, "No! A!" "B!" "A!" "BBBBB!" etc.
Very tiring to read about. You really need to mix it up and come up with some decent arguments for both sides rather than this endlessly repeated nonsense.

As for: "...he wanted to rush to her and kiss her, and she him", where did this even come from? The romance between them wasn't even slightly built up, and all of a sudden they're ready to rush at each other? Did I miss a few chapters of buildup somehow? The relationship is going to be completely unearned at this point.

One of the reasons this seems off is that Jon and Davos are basically just saying, "We need to fight the dead! Bring your armies North immediately!" without any sort of proper explanations, theorizing scenarios, proper arguments or anything in that direction. They're just being stubborn idiots repeating the same basic lines over and over again, and it make for really, really bad character interactions. It makes Jon look like an idiot.

The dialogue regarding titles and "ordering" and all that shit has been extremely awkward. Could have definitely spent more time trying to make that feel more real.

The convos between Jon/Dany and Jon with Missandei really hit home

Good start. We don't often see this brusque Jon playing the game, and it's refreshing.
Plus him just mounting Rhaegal was awesome, as was Bran and Sansa advising him.
