aidann83 chapter 6 . 5/28/2020 again another solid chapter, also love seeing the clones views. I don't see many fics that show their views. |
Bountyhunter1977 chapter 6 . 5/27/2020 Now some how the chips in there heads needs to discovered or more to the point order 66 and a way to deactivate them with out suspension to get back to Palpatine. |
gbbz chapter 6 . 5/27/2020 I actually like this. It has potential, which you partially realised already. Luke/Anakin (Lukin... Anuke... Lukakin?) is an interesting character. He's a bit too at peace with what has happened, but I can attribute that to author's choice. Luke was a very composed and peaceful Jedi during RotJ. Sidious is very interesting. Much more calculating and cautious than the caricature in RotS. More reminiscent of RotJ. The other characters, I think, are just filler. Even Obi-Wan is not very complex and way too accepting of this situation, but again, this could be too his Jedi-ness. Still, I think he should be at least somewhat suspicious. The only other characters I truly admire in this are the clones. You did great work with them in the latest chapter. They actually feel like programmed human beings. With thoughts of their own, but hardwired to think and believe a certain way. That was a good attempt at writing. Great work! Cheers, gbbz |
Jeda31 chapter 6 . 5/27/2020 Oh my word you did an absolutely sumptuous and gloriously brilliant flawlessly mind blowing exquisite gem of a complete 360 throughout this magnificently fantastic chapter. Utterly love how you had Luke leave Sidious, the Jedi council, clones with food for though in more ways than one and even Luke himself from the various interactions between the two groups. Found that brilliant and terrific Overwhelming bombshell that you dropped on the clones via Luke as to the true nature of their existence and purpose for being in existence and opening themselves up to the idea of what is to come in order to prepare and prevent such an eventuality from coming to pass. |
OneStoneFalling chapter 6 . 5/27/2020 This is so good. I love the idea of trusting the clones with his information, but I don't think he has any idea about the chips, does he? |
AshesGleamandGlow chapter 6 . 5/27/2020 Gosh I love Luke. The Younger Half of AshesGleamandGlow |
xDAst chapter 6 . 5/27/2020 I like this fic, but i have some problems with how Luke acts. First, that Luke deserve a punishment for what he did to Tarkin. I hope that in the next chapters he stays away from the front. And second, ¿who is luke to tell that the jedi have no idea about to be generals?. Luke, the guy that during the Civil War doesnt command any troops. Kenobi and others jedi were more soldiers and generals than Luke by far. As i said, i like this fic, but i hope that Luke get some punishment. If not, he can be a Gary Stu, and i hope that he will be not that in the future. |
Courtesy Trefflin chapter 6 . 5/27/2020 I really don't like that Luke is portrayed as being more powerful than Anakin, cuz that's just wrong, but this story is _very_ interesting. Despite that one fact, I love it. It's written flawlessly, and I wonder how wise it was for Luke to tell the clones the truth. I can only hope he finds out about the chips before its too late... |
oldtimeydude chapter 6 . 5/27/2020 Huh, so I'm hoping that from Luke's little tidbit about the Jedi of this era not being generals and more peacetime officers that he's gonna show them how a war is actually fought and using actual military tactics instead of the ridiculous ones the Jedi use like charging en masse at an enemy while you all have automatic weapons? |
Jack1nTheBox chapter 6 . 5/27/2020 that escalated quickly. Nothing really happened per se, but damn, feels ba to be a clone in that room. So I'm a bit rusty on my starters history and what certain characters know and don't know but does Luke know about Order 66? from what you wrote it seems to me he doesn't know but definatelly suspects something like that? I suppose it doesn't really matter either way, you seem to be making an interesting story irrespective of what is cannon and what isn't. nice chapter, looking forward to the next one |
Azure Lightning Emerald Cloud chapter 6 . 5/27/2020 I loved this conversation with the clones. their reactions were spot on. |
teruin42 chapter 6 . 5/27/2020 It's interesting to watch Luke putting all the pieces together. He knows what Palpatine's goal is but has to figure out the plan in order to thwart it. Hopefully he can confide in Obi Wan and the Council soon. |
ndjjdjsujsj chapter 6 . 5/27/2020 Loved the chapter! Can't help but wonder about Fives fate now that Analuke has an idea of what's going on |
ghostcrab311 chapter 6 . 5/27/2020 Haha, now Palps is worried. Good. Hmm. But did Luke twig to why the Jedi were all murdered? Is that why he is afraid? Hmm. Luke channeling his inner Qui-Gon? Sounds good to me. The Jedi order needs a few more Qui-Gons, and a few less Windus, to be honest. Well, that took a turn for the grimmer. It is why I utterly despise Palpatine: He willingly and gleefully sacrificed the freedom and the lives of the clones, forcing them to do something they found abhorrent, simply to increase his own, personal power. He literally *created* them to be such sacrifices, to be ground up in machinery that he was controlling the whole time, in a futile and useless war that he ran both sides of, and it amused him. He is one of the most evil and despicable characters in all of fiction. This is why I rejoice every time he gets screwed over. He has absolutely no redeeming qualities whatsoever. why I utterly despise Palpatine: He willingly and gleefully sacrificed the freedom and the lives of the clones, forcing them to do something they found abhorrent, simply to increase his own, personal power. But however angry Cody is now, it's better to know the truth. The cold, harsh truth is *always* preferable to a comforting lie. |
StephanieStephanie chapter 6 . 5/27/2020 Poor Obi-Wan, starting to see his old Master in his own Padawan, too busy between his duties and trying to reach, train and know the new Anakin to think about putting together the terrifying clues. His only happy moments caused by the person he is the most concerned for. He will only become more worried once/if he finally compare notes with Ashoka. How far are the clones from the discovery of the control chips? Because this is someone they trust and care for deeply, telling them something that make a disturbing amount of sense even if it is mostly hypothetical with a few worrying facts. How will they feel once they learn that not only that person was right, but that they didn't even know the whole nightmarish quality of it? That it wasn't even really about about loyalty after all, but rather having even less liberty than a slave? It will be heartbreaking and terrifying, especially if they talk with Obi-Wan and Ashoka and realise that while Anakin was trying to find out how the hell it could happen, he also gave them a possible deadline. |
