Great chapter

An interesting start.

The "duel" between Harry and Voldemort gave some insight to the power dynamic. I'm quite thankful Harry didn't somehow become super-powerful lol and knowingly cause the monochrome.

I think, for the most part, the dialogue and interaction in this chapter is good insight into the four characters really explored here.

Amelia Bones seems to be a chill woman, trying to do her best in a corrupt Ministry ruled by politics. Not sure how you did it, but you actually made a completely impartial character, one who doesn't take shit from either the Ministry or Dumbledore/Harry. But that only makes her more likable.

Dumbledore may be cryptic, but it's clear that he's acting in the best interest of Harry and the Wizarding World. One can argue about the good intentions paving the path to Hell, but that's neither here nor there.

Fuck Percy.

Harry is surprisingly mostly in-character. He doesn't just go 'I'm sick of this shit I'm gonna be Lord Potter-Black-Peverell now.' Instead, I like that you drew bits and pieces of the conversation and Malfoy's conversation to transition into his independence. Good thing, too. Canon Harry was way too reactive and not proactive enough. Love to see it.

Mostly dialogue-driven chapter, not too much else other than debriefing and explanation and setup. I'd watch the punctuation though, there's random bits missing haha. Gotta say though, things seem to be quite different from Defiance, so I'll pretend this fic is entirely separate from that one so that I can look at it with fresh eyes.

Great chapter. Love the mystery you are setting up cant wait to see what caused the deaths and the repercussions from it.

Really really loving the changes in the graveyard and the consequences of those changes. Keep it up!

Like the start so far. We have the makings of manipulative Dumbledore, but not incompetent Dumbledore, which sadly is not a combination you see a lot of. I’m a sucker for stories in which Harry starts of weak and grows in power, so this story is seemingly right in my wheelhouse.

HYPED! Great intro and look into the working of Dumbledore. I've always had a certain fondness for good Dumbledore fics. It's so easy to bash him, but showing the reasoning behind his actions and humanizing him is difficult. I commend all of you for your effort in this endeavor. Got a great feeling about this one, so keep up the great work guys! :)

Are you aiming on finishing or not because i can’t be bothered to read a fic and after a couple months of being invested on it, it to stop updating and never update again. I see your reasoning about stopping but i feel like the hp fiction has changed since you last updated. Liked Defiance quite a lot so would like to see what you offer?

It's hard to separate a bashing Dumbledore story with one that is a realist, grounded one. I like the one dimensional character writing of bashing stories. If I have to do more thinking and reflecting on this story then I'm ready for something different. Looking forward to what you've come up with after years of gained writing and life experience. Please keep writing.
