![]() ![]() ![]() i thought silmarillion dragons are have intelligence close to a human while also have some magic they can use so they should've been way more dangerous than Valyrian Dragons as they are more like beast with some intelligence huge but i think not being able to be as big as Ancalagon the Black also Valyrian Dragons are just a result of breeding different wyrms followed by magic binding |
![]() ![]() ![]() This was pretty good. One of the best I've read in some time |
![]() ![]() ![]() I really loved this chapter, it was interesting to see the lore you made |
![]() ![]() ![]() Helluva opening chapter! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wait why do the merpeople just leave? Why doesn't Elendur at least try to get them onto land or something? |
![]() ![]() ![]() Maybe you were underselling Valyria, but I think you're also swinging the other way a bit with comparing their dragons to the Middle Earth ones. Sure some like Balerion were very beastly, but they're no Ancalagon. I was expecting a bit of a jab at GRRM with Aragorn II doing a bit of a tax reform. Missed opportunity for a bit of snark. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This story was great, thank yup for your work! |
![]() ![]() 1 chapter & Im already dropping...giving them psycic powers is already dumb enough. Making them completely learn a language just because they read a mind for 3 seconds though is completely and utterly retarded though. Thats some forced plot bs if there ever was. |
![]() ![]() ![]() It’s one of those things where at some point you become so old that everyone around is younger than you and you’re still looking 30, it’s going to be inevitable that a huge age gap would happen between a long lived species and a short one |
![]() ![]() ![]() What happened to Middle-Earth without the Nine Ships? A pissed off Karl Franz and his army land and shoot everything. Seriously, though, a great story, more so because you finished it. I prefer the version you wrote as opposed to the one you wrote on your essay |
![]() ![]() ![]() Any chance of an alternate timeline "Land of the Ring - Sauron/Angmar in Westeros?" Would be interesting to see how you would do that. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Well, this is truly Great Story. Such careful attention to detail, millennia from the Age of Heroes to Canon, just incredible dedication and hard work! Right now I am enjoying anoter your work (Corlys Velaryon SI) in parallel. And again it's absolutely amazing kingdom building! On your profile page, I can see interest in the Harry Potter fandom. Therefore, I would venture to suggest that one day you will take on the creation of another masterpiece already in Potter universe. Perhaps it will be Grindelwald SI? Who will follow the path of opening his own school with the unification of science and magic in order to build a new society, not limited by the boundaries of countries, old money and the ideology of bloody purism, concentrating all muggle-borns and half-breeds around him, on an independent territory... Or maybe be someone who appeared even before the discovery of New Zealand by Europeans to take control of it to create a society there, under some analogue of the Fidelius over the islands... Or a completely different way. But what I hope for is whichever way you go, it will probably be anoter great story, with lofty ambitions and no senseless drama. Anyway, thank you author! |
![]() ![]() ![]() You're now one of the amazing longfic full crossover completionist authors. Congratulations! |
![]() ![]() ![]() wow GG |
![]() ![]() ![]() It's not often I find a fic of this level of quality and detail; the sheer challenge of writing five-and-a-half thousand years of history in one fic, without glossing over pertinent details - but what a fic it is. Most LotR stuff on FFN is utter rubbish, but this is a gem. The snapshots of life through each era and the summations built a world unlike any other ASOIAF fic, one which I will certainly remember for years to come. As for the ending, yes, it may be a little rushed, but it was getting there anyways and drawing it out was unnecessary. The actual content of the ending was good, and the final chapter was, like all the 'Annals of the King' chapters, a great refresher on the prior arc, and it wrapped up the story nicely. |
