i've read this story countless times now and i never tire of it. it's by far the most in-character Drarry fic i've ever read, as though it really could be canon. that marks some real skill (pun?).
i love the consistency and blending of genres, too, not solely fixed on romantic development but their actual complicated characters and interactions w others. that's what really makes it for me, too.
altogether a seriously great fic.

Hey! I know that i'm probably too late for this review to actually mean anything... 12 years is obviously too late, but i did really want to say - this is the best drarry fanfic i've ever read. It made me so happy and so sad and it actually felt better than the books (no offence to queen Jo). But I do have one burning question in my mind - why didn't you include Remus in it? I mean, he loved harry as much as Sirius did, and he too would have been frantic if Harry was in the hands of the dark lord... and then he would probably understand draco and harry much better than anyone else, because his lover had died too( if you ship remus an sirius). So yeah, i would be forever grateful if you put my mind to rest. Again, it was the most beautiful draco/harry fic, thanks for writing it.
I know I've rambled enough, but there is one last thing - in your author's notes you said that you worked for the army... and maybe you don't anymore, but i really do hope that wherever in this world you are, i hope you're safe and happy and peaceful, the least you'd deserve for writing so beautifully.
I really really really hope you tell me, and whether it be tomorrow or a hundred years later, I'll be waiting for an answer.

This was the most amazing, incredible, well written, beautiful story. I love it so much and it has made it to my top fave fics of all time. Perfection. I could say so much more but at the same time, I'm speechless.
