I'm gonna guess the reason Neville states Harry won't have to marry Ginny is the classic It was Dumbledore & Molly who signed the contract, not James & Arthur (or their father or one of Arthur's brothers) as head of family. Dumbledore my make himself guardian of Harry but he is NOT a Potter or head of family.

I think these types of stories are very interesting to read and a break from the other crap Harry has to deal with! Though I could’ve done without that cliffhanger lol! Can’t wait till you have the next chapter up! Great writing!
