Lovely story. Rita's end and Dudley's nightmare were excellent!
Silverdragonstar chapter 10 . 7/27
Enjoyed this so much. I liked the solutions for dealing with the tournament and all of the other things Harry encountered.
HeartsGlow chapter 7 . 6/5
FYI, all students robes are black. The house colors are the trim and ties that they wear, not the whole robe.
AliceTobor chapter 4 . 5/29
Ginny Weasley is a victim.

Molly is the one who brainwashed her daughter from birth to "love" the Boy-who-lived.

It was almost certainly Dumbledore who gave Molly the idea.

Bill, Charley, Percy, Fred, George, they all have as little contact with Molly as soon as they can.

Molly has a BLIND, TOTAL, UNWAVERING Faith in Dumbledore.
She is RUDE, CRUDE, LOUD, and worse...
Remember how Molly acted towards Sirius in his own house!
I would have thrown Molly and Dumbledore out, set the wards to KILL, grabbed Harry and abandoned the British Wizarding World to BURN.
wiebenor chapter 5 . 5/24
This is a good short story so far, but I have ONE BIG gripe with the plotline so far... Everyone seems to know what Voldemort's relatively secret immortality plan, known as a horcrux, is, and considering that the knowledge is considered SOO EVIL that everyone tries to make sure everyone is ignorant about how to do such magic, the only people who should know anything about it, so as to recognize one on sight is either a curse breaker, or an unspeakable, and yet, you've got Harry, Hermione, madam bones probably even, that knows exactly what that diary is, and that's not including the fact that somehow, a manipulative Dumbledore who doesn't tell ANYONE, ANYTHING, told Harry in 2nd year that the diary was unequivocally a horcrux? Yeah, none of that drivel I've just spewed out is remotely possible if you go by the "standard" world building background information regarding horcruxes, or the fanfiction based "manipulative Dumbledore", yet here I am making the argument that even so, this story seems to make all those road-apples possible...

I'm sorry if I'm being hard on the writer, because I'm not trying to be, it's just that that ONE apparent misconception about horcruxes, where apparently everyone and their uncles knows about them (without giving proper backstory as to how that's possible) is something that I find would ruin the story for someone who cared for accuracy that much more than I do...
paulieandgilbert chapter 10 . 5/24
This is excellent! My only query, it isn't stated if Molly ever made it out of the mines. Oh well, like they say, always leave them wanting more.
Have to say, I love what you did with Dumbledork and Skeeter. It always makes me smile when folks get what they so desperately deserve. Thanks!
erstwhile-S chapter 10 . 5/13
Had a great time reading this story again. Thanks.
Grosvenor chapter 8 . 5/2
it's Not rooting in Britain! it's cheering on!
mateosama chapter 1 . 4/16
Love the story, as with all your works. But I noticed the rating is K. If you're gonna drop an F-bomb, I think you should bump it up to at least T to be safe. Cheers
Incantations7 chapter 9 . 3/21
How can he still speak a magical language if he no longer has any magic?
HoneyBear84 chapter 10 . 3/20
Love it
brigrove chapter 4 . 2/16
I just noticed in the last paragraph, Fleur refers to Harry killing a basilisk, but in the letter Hermione read out it only refers to facing and fighting the basilisk
