Lazymanjones96 chapter 5 . 7/2/2020 Interesting stuff looking forward to more |
Monxu Aki chapter 5 . 7/1/2020 Really good nice story! Hope to read more of it son! |
Mystery56 chapter 5 . 7/1/2020 You are writing this really well. I usually have a lot of sceptisism towards time travel fanfics but honestly you are doing a really great job. It is enjoyable and well written. I hope that you keep making these |
Manosikvabe-Mrito chapter 5 . 6/30/2020 Good chapter. It was more like "Calm before the storm" chapter. Carry on! |
prism123 chapter 5 . 6/30/2020 Not in time to save Bell-mere :(. Pretty good chapter. I'm curious who Ace and Sabo are going to fight. At this point in canon they didn't seem strong enough to face the Hachi or the fishmen karate guy, but I guess if they've been doing exra training they might be up to it. |
prism123 chapter 4 . 6/30/2020 Interesting so far. I like them all declaring they'll get stronger at the end and the fact that they were able to save most of the grey terminal peeps. |
ChunkyFunkyMunky chapter 5 . 6/29/2020 This is a bit too much deviation from canon. I do not mind Ace and Sabo being, but I do not care for the idea of them as children sailing to fight guys. Taking on Arlong now as a kid makes less of story and development in the future for everyone. |
Soledge1 chapter 5 . 6/29/2020 well you got more reviews. LOL. this is a fine story. |
Chiaki Hamano chapter 5 . 6/29/2020 Ooooohhh, beautiful story. I must say, this is my first read through of it and I am highly impressed by both the quality and the plot. I really enjoy the fact that you are considering the butterfly effects of time travels as well, too many stories take it too lightly. Damn, it's a pity it's not more because I totally would not mind reading more. Keep on writing! You are creating something wonderful right now! Can't wait how Nami is gonna react to the whole thing. God, I hope nothing will happen to Sabo and Ace, they are strong but... |
livinganime14 chapter 5 . 6/29/2020 SCREEEEEEE Aaaa I’m so happy, and this is so suspenseful as well as a great cliff hanger! Your writing skills are amazing and I’m so excited. |
Ashbee95 chapter 5 . 6/29/2020 I would imagine a young boy defeating a pirate notorious enough to be featured on the front page of a newspaper will attract some attention from the media world of at least east blue’s. |
Time Parad0x chapter 5 . 6/29/2020 Well, I didnt comment so far, because One Piece time-travel stories are common and the first few chapters there really isnt usually much divergence. So reading the start of this chapter I was really hopeful because the biggest failure those stories always make is Luffy not caring for the wellbeing of his crew-members that the person precious to them dont succumb to the dark fate of canon and neither do they having to live years in a dark place until Luffy manages to run into them to help them. The ones having to endure the most being the girls in his crew - So I hoped that this time with Luffy not wanting to have Nami suffer the same fate seeing her mother being executed right in front of her it would not come to pass ... only it did because of course Luffy was this half a second too late to do anything about it. I get it - from a storyteller perspective Bellmere is troublesome ex-Marine and with the strong bond Nami has with her would be difficult to convince a happy Nami to become a Pirate and leave her family behind, especially against the objections Bellmere would no doubt bring forth. Still, this was a let down of epic proportions for me - I prefer Luffy not caring for the earlier lives of his crew members compared to this ... What I really always find interesting in such stories either Luffy failing or not caring - that he never considers not even for a second how loyal his crew would be to him if they knew he had prior knowledge of what fate would have in store for him and he could have prevented it easy but chose not to ... I mean ever considered that if Luffy's goal was to ensure the survival of his crew - recruiting them early as kids and train them might exactly accomplish what he set out to do because they would end up many times stronger than in canon and therefore had the means to actually protect themselves ... In addition, it would really serve to make the story more interesting by not following canon Island for Island ... Despite my misgiving of Bellmeres death something that still could happen here ... time will tell ... |
khjd chapter 5 . 6/29/2020 I liked how mature and quick Luffy reacted in this chapter. I also wonder how his fight with Arlong will play out. Also for the reviews, Don't worry. Your story is somewhat new. They'll come in sooner or later hopefully. |
acpeters chapter 5 . 6/29/2020 I really enjoyed this chapter. Luffy’s single minded help his nakama was portrayed perfectly. I am very curious to see how this young version of Luffy can stack up to Arlong. I look forward to the next chapter! |
WhiteyWolf26 chapter 5 . 6/29/2020 Good chapter! Great immersion. I find it interesting and well implemented to see the differing knowledge of the characters here. As in, among all the things Arlong did to Nami, Luffy never mentioned the murder of her mother - which makes sense, since there's agood chance he doesn't know about it even after all this time, since he walked away from Nojiko's explanation way back. But the murder happened of course, so we see it from Nami's perspective. Aah, Luffy's feell so guilty... We won't have to worry about Nami's loyalty at all, though. If he'll be happy about having gained it like that when all is said and done is another thing, but at least after this she'll be safe. But before that... booooy, poor ASL are in for a FIGHT, indeed. To defeat Arlong, Luffy'll have to essentially be at least as strong as his 17 year old self was. Which depends on how his current, differing skill set compares to his old one overall. I guess. Ace and Sabo, too, will have to be stronger by now than they were in canon by now to hold their own against Arlong's officers, let alone defeat them. At least given how Ace and Dadan's fight with Blue Jam went in canon... Hooo boy, unless the villagers help them at least a little I am suddenly afraid how that fight might go, to be honest. Ace and Sabo at least are already outnumbered even if they only fight the officers, who all have a (much) higher bounty than Porchemy had, though not as high as Blue Jam. Them being hungry also won't have helped. Let's hope Luffy will be able to spare the energy for a good punch of Conqueror's to at least take out the rabble... Ah, either way it'll be a doozy next chapter. :) |
