Regardless, you were one of the best. Shame you moved on, but judging from how prolific you are, you enjoy your new settings quite a bit; so I shall very, very, very, very belatedly wish you success in the Yu-Gi-Oh fandom. Shame I never got interested in it myself, but them's the breaks.

this story is somewhat unexpected, i first saw this about three years back. and i still can not get over the initial awkwardness.

i mean alice, the most hated character in digimon history ever, paired with the craziest character in the digimon universe? i was sure hell would have ensured...

but it didn't... and i loved it.

I must say this story was brilliant, how everything was paced in a realistic way, how you put Hirokazu at a goofy yet mature stage. I've always adored the Hirokazu and Alice pair, good job!

Yet another uncommon pairing brought vividly to life by your literary craft. It's enjoyable to see some fleshing out of the relatively minor character Alice, and to see some maturity in Hirokazu, while at the same time preserving his basic goofy nature.

dm: this is one amazing fic. somehow, you made both characters so much like they should be. there arent nearly enough stories about either alice or kazu and this one is the highest quality ive seen. i applaud you. ciao!

That was a great story but having it split into chapters would be helpful. I 'bout forgot all I wanted to comment on! I loved Kazu's opening line, the Alice/Kazu couple. I guess it will be Hiroalice? How Alice caused the truck to crash. I knew she was going to do that. It was all great. I like how you had Dobermon still be alive and everything. Great! Great! Great! :) Story going to my faves.

*shakes head* Frankly... this is THE best Hirokazu-centric fic I have EVER read. There're just so few out there that treat him as a real person instead of a 2-dimensional jerk and a foil for this or that character, or some kind of fifth wheel to some other pairing.
This is wonderful; it's a romance that doesn't go too fast, nor too slow, and really brings out the positive aspects of a personality like Hirokazu's as it matures.
