I have to say I still really like this story.

I hope for a quick update on the story.

Overall not The best chapter in the story… Naruto has largely been serious throughout the story (fitting with his background), but that seems to have flown out the window here. He relatedly used humor (?) to somewhat sidestep very serious issues for those he was talking to, first Kushina and then Sakumo and Kagami. Then, the first half of his discussion with the expert shinobi picked specifically for this mission seemed more like he was trying to talk fresh genin through how to fight D and B rather than people with years and probably decades of experience.

Good story so far, but this chapter has some elements that did not work very well in my opinion.

First, I want to thank the chapter and praise the author for managing to handle the back to time trope, even though naruto seems more caged than anything but, I understand that he needs to adapt to the chain of command, it's just a reflection...Now for the pain of head, it irritating how little hierarchy is present in the Naruto Team, he is more of a colleague than a sensei and immediate superior, as Team leader, everything he does is questioned and challenged, he is attacked by his genins at all moment, orally and physically in Kushina's case, which should be ridiculous, attacking a superior is at least an act of direct defiance and disrecpect, he should respond as such, even if it's his family, he doesn't separate personal from professional like a veteran ninja, who fought in wars, it makes reading annoying, the fact that kushina attacked him in front of HOKAGE and nothing came of it, tells me a lot about the rest of the interaction between them, it's just annoying the non-existent weight that his position has in the team, he can't even give an order without being challenged and forced to explain himself as if he had to convince they to OBEY as they should...It's bizarre and has made reading a difficult and irritating issue.

I really don't like Akiko to much she's way to stuck up ik naruto is eventually going to get together with her but my hope it will be mainly focused on kushina because that's the only character of the three I care about mikoto is OK because she's quite but akiko I don't like her as of right now . I hope kushina puts her in her place far as I'm concerned naruto belongs to her .

Genetic issues doesn't show that fast, as long as you don't have any hereditary defects or sicknesses running in the family your children run less risk for their health from incest, than if you had a child with a random person from the street... After several generations of incest sickle cell can develop though.

I’m enjoying this quite a bit though I will say the whole kushina romance thing is really strange especially how you went out of your way to argue how it’s not out of the ordinary in this world. It just feels like you shoe horned in a reason to justify it when it really wasn’t necessary.

You could have had it come up more organically like having it mentioned that other clans when faced with the almost complete destruction of their clan were forced to make such sacrifices. Although even then it would have been a little weird to be honest given the uzumaki are not currently destroyed or lacking in number.

Honestly even from a strictly clan speaking sense it would have made far more sense for Mito to push for him to find both himself and Kushina strong ninja to wed. That would result in more who carry the Uzumaki blood being born with strong chakra than they would have been able to produce alone.

That’s just my opinion though, and while I find it super creepy it doesn’t hurt the story in any way. Just a recommendation for the future to try and “show” things in stead of telling us. Like I mentioned have other clans discussing some traditions would show us what you wanted us to see whereas just having the MC think about them in his head and justify it is more akin to just telling us your reasons.
