Like the work overall but man why the Asari getting let off so lightly? Lie to Cortona to attain slip-space so they can run away and then somehow land, not at a forerunner installation, but a precursor one. That alone would wipe out any Reapers in the galaxy and give them ultimate power. Hopefully this won't be the case.

Looking forward to continuation of this story. Personally, I usually like faster paced stories, but this one cought my interest and never let go. Good job.

I just realized that Cheif never learned of Halseys true feelings on the Spartans and here desperate actions to try to save them. He never knew that she basically fell apart after she learned that both Cheif and Miranda were lost on Instalation 00

Rereading this in preparation for you starting to post again and I'm wondering; how come the alliance scientists on Mars didn't join Chief on Pretoria? Seems like the kind of thing they'd be chomping at the bit to do once they got wind of it.
