![]() ![]() ![]() This is the second time I'm reading this because it's so good. I just wish you had chapters of these interactions from Malfoy's point of view. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Beautiful, albeit painful chapter. I think my favorite so far. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Quite literally the best fanfic I have ever read. It made me laugh, frown, smirk and had me close to tears. The writing is excellent, and even better than some published books I have read. All in all, amazing story. *chefs kiss* |
![]() ![]() ![]() Woooohooooooo! Hermione finally gets back into action! Yes! Just YES! |
![]() ![]() ![]() That conversation with Ron is something else... That was incredibly powerful. Thank you for those words. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Such a good chapter! I'm not usually a big fan of kids' moments in fanfictions (or just kids in general I suppose), but there's something utterly tragic about Scorpius. Something I want to see him grieve and grow out of, and turn into something beautiful. I feel like my interest in reading this story is slowly but surely moving away from the dramione, and towards Scorpius. It's becoming more about him by the chapter. Thank you for writing and sharing this, it's a special story. On a more superficial level, what is it with them witches drinking their red wine chilled? Sorry, but that gets me every time ' I also really enjoyed Pansy and Hermione's dinner and conversation. I really like Pansy as a character in general, and you really do her justice in here :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Ever since we know a bit more about Albus and Scorpius I've been hoping for these to meet :D I can't wait to see it happen! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I started reading this story on AO3 and was so frustrated I couldn't leave any comments as a guest on earlier chapters, but then! Oh bliss, I found out it was also published here :) There is so much I've thought and wanted to share in my reviews, but I can't remember it all. For now, I'll start by saying that reading this story has been like therapy so far, really. I found myself with tears coming up to my eyes at some of Hermione's self-reflection passages, because they ring so true, so close to home. And then I got shaken but her discussion with Malfoy about her lack of experimenting with potion brewing, and the whole metaphor that carries. Your words are so powerful. I was looking forward to this scene with much tragedy in such a little body. You wrote it beautifully. As for secondary characters, I really like what you're made of Daphne here. Pansy is always a favorite of mine, and I was SHOCKED at her alchemy with Percy! Never thought of that ship before, and I'm SO excited to see where it goes! Also, Parvati is not usually a character I give much thoughts to, but I really like her here. She's outgoing and funny, yet there's that reminder that she's lost her best friend. As for Theo, I think your rendering of him makes sense with what we know of him in the books. I also like the fact that you reminded us at some point that him and Draco were not really friends at school, which is too often forgotten in fanfiction. Oh and I also really like Harry! I don't know why, but he sounds credible and real as Hermione's best friend. In many dramione, it's like the writers don't really know what to do with him. You make him a strong and tangible character here, and I like the conversations between him and Hermione. I could go on and on about all the other great relationships and characters you've developed, but I'm going to stop here and go indulge in another chapter :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Truly the very BEST Dramione I have ever read. Length, pacing, character and plot development were perfect, and the story is both incredibly sweet and incredibly deep. Thank you so much for this fic! |
![]() ![]() ![]() This was phenomenal. I don't think I've ever read a better Dramione than this one. Wow. Just, wow. Bravo! |
![]() ![]() This story healed something inside me that cursed child broke. It also ruined my life for a week because I couldn't focus on anything else until I finished it. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh my god. I dont know how to even say how much this story has done to me. So much healing, learning, self introspection. Maybe im leaning into it too much, but i was telling my husband yesterday that this fan fic is a story of dealing with physical and emotional trauma through this guise of a comfortable plot and characters like harry potter. 10/10, will recomend to everyone i love. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I must say, you're an incredible writer. Your talent really shines in crafting engaging plots and intriguing characters. However, something changed for me after Draco and Hermione acknowledged their situation. I'm somewhat disappointed with their dynamic now. I can't pinpoint exactly what's off, but they seem too calculated and controlled. While I enjoy your slow-paced style and the slow-burn romance, I feel like the spark between Draco and Hermione has faded. There was a great buildup, but the climax felt underwhelming and weak. |
![]() ![]() ![]() omg... this was an amazing chapter.. I loved it so much but I was instantly crushed by the end of it. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This is the second Dramione fic I have read and enjoyed. The first was 'Manacled.' I am so captivated by this story that I cannot stop reading it. It's an amazing piece of work. |
