I am LOVING this story, even only two chapters in. Often, I'm hesitant to read stories where Draco has a child but I decided to try this one out - so glad I did! I love the way you write Hermione and every other character as well. You've been able to keep each character mostly true to how they're portrayed in the books/movies while also changing things up by turning enemies into friends (i.e. Pansy and Hermione) and you have done it BEAUTIFULLY. Very much looking forward to future chapters, most especially the chapter where Hermione sees Draco for the first time since his trial - which, based on context clues, I have a feeling has something to do with the case Theo offered. ;)

It's indeed very nice to see Hermione surounded with friend.
I really like what you've done with her parent relationship. I think it's quite pausible and enjoy reading it.
I must say there was a lot of humour in this chapter and since I've read it during my lunchtime, I've found myself gigleeling in front of my collegues who didn't understand what was so funny.

Also who is this mysterious patient. If he is related to Theo, that narrows it down quite a bit. At first I thought it was Draco, but it couldn’t be. He seems so active and busy. Is it Narcissa? Hhmmm

I love how you portray growthhope, how Hermione sees the state of a thing, of a relationship, of shyness, as something that can evolve. It must be hard to stay hopeful though, especially with her parents.
