The thing that interested me to read this fic was the misunderstanding comedy and Ye getting his ass out from a weird/bad situation.

This story was the best Arknights story, then somewhere in the Yan arc it started going downhill and it never recovered. But even worse, the last 30 chapters were so bad that they have irrevocably ruined my good memories of the story. I can't begin to explain how sad I am at this, even if the story continues I have to stop here

I guess most of Ye's friends (especially Skadi) will try to find him.

To be perfectly honest, I cringed a lot after the whole Yan arc. I can't imagine how long I could hold this story for if YOU DIDN'T DO YOUR OWN MADE BACKSTORY back then.

The entire things feels like it was clearly rushed, from this arc to a complete utter shift. It feels like these recent chapters should've been at least 2 more separate arcs or 3 but they conjoined for one ultimate plot twist that was cringe if I didn't see.

But, as you are now probably gonna continue this on your own, which might mean less cringe, slower updates but better and more grounded WITHOUT THE CLASSIC CHINESE WANK, I want to see more.

The final set up is basically a blank canvas, you can start over on your own terms, own pace, own relationship or well, until he meets his previous acquaintances anyways. So, all I can say is good luck and you did a great, great job so far translating this cringe masterpiece.

Yeah that ending socks as there still so much of the story that is left unfinished, like reunion, the cure for oripathy, or you know just about everything else! Like how about the old doctor Ian he hasn't been rescued from chernobog. But real life problems can kick everyone in the ass sometimes so I guess I'll have to settle for this and hope to god the original author makes more of it.

Interesting

I've had my gripes with the story and it mostly boils down to Lin Ye's action, but I think that even if I took his place I probably would have done the same, or chose a more hasty but worse choice down the line.

I often yelled at Lin Ye in the story, but that's probably what helped grip me into the story, I am conflicted with a lot of his actions, but I also understand why he does all of this as well. He's not some super genius like the doctor, nor is he a master of combat. He's just an ordinary guy who gets tossed into the flow and is forced to bear the weight of his actions many times more often than the layman would. He's practically killing his own body just to catch up with the power creep of Terra.

I like Lin Ye, I like the relationship between him and his friends, and ideally while I'd like a harem for Lin Ye, that's honestly never gonna work out in reality. What will work out however, is probably a found family in Terra. Though he can no longer go home, I hope Lin Ye is able to form his own family in this world with his cats, and maybe a lover.

Still confused who are the all the know reincarnated cats.
