Despite what other people say about pace, I still find the speed enjoyable (uploads are a different story, but that's just my impatience talking). The conversation style feels organic, which some authors forget about for the sake of brevity. Although there are some issues with details, there is nothing too immersion breaking.

I guess this is a roundabout way of saying, I really enjoy your writing and hope you keep it up. I'm always excited to see another chapter from you.

20 chapters 225k words and still this story it's not even on the quidditch world cup... just planning, plotting and perving.
This chapter was a Bottle Episode (one of many now that I realize) it didn't advance the plot at all and there's not a single scene OUTSIDE the MC's home.
I enjoy a good Slice of Life as much as the next person but I don't know man I want to see you exploring the rest of the canon plot which by the way you still have a lot.

I always love to see a new chapter from this fic. I’ve been reading it since day one. But oh my lord is it slow.

It is written so damn well too. With a dozen intriguing plot lines going on in the background and a cast of amazing and interesting characters I can’t recommend this story enough.

Proceeding at this pace though? We will be over a million words by the time we get to the quidditch World Cup let alone the triwizard tournament or anything beyond that. I love the potential here, it so many layers. You’ve got this outerversal system, some demon connected to him acting as the game system, you’ve got plans to fight Voldemort and plans to delay and distract Dumbledore while you help Violet, then you’re dealing with just healing Lily and each of these layers are as compelling as all the others.

I think this pace could be good so long as you added time skips in to get the plot moving to major events. Otherwise I think I’ll be sitting here next year and once again be complaining about still being a ways of from the quidditch World Cup.

It took Nick 15 minutes to go from Surrey to "somewhere in Northern England" (where little hangleton is). The furthest possible distance that could be is 325 miles, meaning he averaged 1300 mph, 21.7 miles per minute, or 0.36 miles per second. The fastest military jet in operation has a top speed of 2,190 mph, 35.5 miles per minute, or 0.61 miles per second. The fastest military jet ever has a top speed of 4,520 mph, 75.3 miles per minute, or 1.26 miles per second. And Nick probably wasn't going all the way to the northernmost point in England.

To further put it in perspective, if Nick was 100 yards (300 feet) above sea level, the horizon (at sea level) would be 21.2 miles away. If he was flying at that height, and could get a clear picture of where he planned to apparate to, apparate the full 21.2 miles, and re-enter himself in 20 seconds, he'd be 4 miles behind the fastest military jet for every apparation. But the horizon would be significantly close due to treas, hills, and buildings. And 300 feet is pretty high.

Idk why I wrote all this over an offhand exaggeration. Stuff like that just interests me I guess.

This just seems unnecessarily risky. What if there's a hole in his glove? Or the water isn't enough to dilute Basilisk venom?

"Her heartbeat was rapid, but considering the situation, that might not necessarily be a sign of something wrong, just how stressed and panicked she currently was. Pulse was good and decently strong, but much higher then normal for what was supposed to be a young woman."

Heartbeat and pulse measure the same thing.

Nick talks way too much. I skim through most of his dialogue. You could cut out 80% of his dislogue, half of his thoughts, and half of your explanations without losing anything. Some paragraphs are just walls of dialogue that take up my entire phone screen.

Do you just write down your thoughts? I write like this when texting to people sometimes, but if I reread what I wrote, I find I can make my point much more concisely.
