Lol, the wall of text review for chapter 3... Couldn't really parse out the criticism.

Not typically gamer, stats don't make sense? A difference in artistic direction, premise literally evolves during story and issue becomes irrelevant or supports the evolution. No detailed description of MC? The MC's state of existence is a big question mark, more a rebirth than reincarnation. Wish fulfillment? Really? This argument on a site called ? That's throwing stones from a glass house if I've ever seen it.

I guess I was hoodwinked since the person never claimed to have CONSTRUCTIVE criticism. It just makes me sad that authors can seek to put down other authors rather than provide ways to improve. It also shows that leaving opinions on chapter 3 of a 20 chapter story may be pointless given natural sorry development.

I dont know why lilys greater than you attitude and self entitlement is getting to me. I know the mc is scummy for trying to f them that way but she doesnt know, he brought her to life for f s sake in her view he is a saint and then helps her every single turn and her gets beatings and abuse and nagging in return. Its f ing infuriating

The main OC has no description outside of being taller than Violet, in good shape and a male, so basically Joe Nobody. Why care about this character if the author didn't give enough of a shit to provide a proper description.

The gamer part of the story is a complete joke, the author assumes the reader know what type of system is used, what the stat scaling is and how the skill mastery is structured while also pulling stuff out of their ass without rime or reason and expects the reader to just not care.
It looks like not even the author knows since the MC is apparently level 65 with 17 MP, and if that doesn't tell you the author doesn't know what they are doing I don't know what will.

The quests are just wish fulfillment disguised as plot.

The author keeps on spitting bullshit about uncertainty and deceit, of how characters won't give the whole information and their real intentions while at the same time having walls of text full of info dumps, information that the MC really shouldn't be oversharing as it doesn't make sense he know that much, from an outsiders perspective at least, and basic character bashing to the point I can't take anything written in the AN seriously.

It all reads like a cheap excuse for the author to talk out of their as and write a sloppy, plot hole filled mess and then blame the unreliable narrator for it.

This story doesn't have unreliable narrators, it has an unreliable author who flies by the seat of their pants and then makes excuses for their sloppy little wish fulfillment wankfic to try and make it look more sophisticated than it has any right to be.

Soooooooo this ain't gamer fic. I expect it already with all the IMPORTANT GAMING part are skipped and ignored but man... I was waiting for it but it's been ignored.

I agree bogged down by all the time details at start maybe to show all the stuff but every chapter just says I got stronger I got smarter I got wiser give everyone that's reading a simplified version if you got to write down everything to keep track of Harry Potter and whatnot increase your literally rolling the dice for multiple choice pass that this specific fanfiction can go through like a dungeons and dragons game then separate thingy to keep all things attract put as minimum information as you can put it in the story itself and have Harry Potter look up stuff by himself and not just blatantly show it just say I didn't do this or I didn't do that or I need to do this or that or this thing says it it says that I have a deficit of this don't show the whole entire thing continuously over and over and over give the snippets that will give information and not impact or impede the story that's why most anime manga fanfiction stories books whatever that involves virtual reality or gamer system that's why it seems so laughably weird because they always show so little that it doesn't seem like an actual game it's the balance between showing too much showing too little narrative and discovery if you don't keep it in between those four things the story becomes the main point which is good for manga and all sorts of other stuff and anime cuz it's a story people want to watch the story of what's happening so we don't want to be impeded by a wall of text or things that keep on going from the very top level name from a narrative standpoint that just makes the story blocky and cumbersome what you need to do is balance it that way the character talks about his stats he talks about special abilities and he doesn't act like as a piece literally shoving his status screen in the face of the viewer.

Yeah I agree with you I dislike the way most fanfiction gets bogged down in the little details yeah I would understand if you were trying to flesh out the character stats and whatnot but what you shouldn't do is shove the data information when people's leveling up you don't have to say leveled up 344 345 346 so
