First of all, and if I understood correctly, congratulations on your promotion at work (if it's for the better).

Basically, Metis ate more than she should have and died of indigestion, failing to absorb Shirou (and Artoria). If I understand correctly, he took over her authority to usurp steel, which makes her laugh in her madness/despair, and, she mentions him being the strongest steel.

And after Metis loses control, and Athena and Guinevere try to escape with the girls, giving up the situation (and Godou and Doni), help arrives in the form of Enkidu, approving of Artoria's decision to refuse to be a Campione (and remain human). He helps contain the steel until Shirou is back in control, what the brief manifestation of Gil's friend observes with a smile and disappears.

Although I'm curious what Shirou learned/seen about Pandora before disappearing.

And While the Goddess claims to be on the side of humans and benevolent, the tantrum she throws over how Enkidu's appearance swung things in favor of the heroes, and how she couldn't get her way, shows her capricious nature as a deity.

From the ending, then, what Hestia, err, Pandora gains from Artoria's (and Shirou's?) presence in her world is basically the same script that Artoria saw and read at the beginning of the fic: Fate/Stay Night.

Although regarding the ending, I thought when I first read it that Pandora was going to sic Luo Hao on Shirou and Artoria, but upon rereading it, given how the Goddess focuses on Merlin, would she task the martial artist with finding the mage of flowers? (which would have quite a few people looking for him, since in addition to those Merlin mentions in his note to Artoria, Marika hinted to Erika—or someone else—that the key to this situation is finding Merlin.)

As long as it doesn't turn out that in the end (for this fic), the world of Campione! was a dream/fantasy, created by Merlin for Artoria during her stay in Avalon (and to give her a chance to meet/reunite with Shirou again).

Can't believe how stupid a person can be when they don't bother to understand why a character act the way they do. Comprehension skill must be pretty bad if they don't understand why Enkidu disapproves of Pandora's actions.

I just hope Arturia become a Campione. Enkidu speak of Humanity but I doubt it TRULY understand Humans.
