Ouch, for Metis (and Godou), because after the Goddess lost her self-control, she just let her be slowly consumed by Shirou, limb by limb, although becoming more dangerous, as Godou had to experience, after dealing with a couple of really big swords plus Caladbolg, the latter being the one that leaves him pretty badly wounded, barely surviving due to the effect of the Ram

It's curious that Arturia's strategy is based on Shirou's affection for Saber, since it's Shirou's instincts and being that are imposing themselves on Metis; hence using Caliburn and the special armor that was made for her (although this time taking the form of Saber lily); to make Metis' defenses minimal and she can attack her, which works, to a certain point, until for a brief moment Metis realizes that the presence of the Steel she ate (Shirou), reacts to the presence of Arturia, putting her for a moment in danger, until another NP very closely linked Saber and that was part of Shirou for a long time, answers Caliburn's call, nothing less than Avalon emerging from Metis (and damaging her even more), to return again to its owner, and protect Arturia from the maddened goddess who seeks to stabilize her already decaying form

Although it remains pending also, Pandora's own intentions of payback towards Arturia, for having rejected being a Campione, something that Shirou's master seems to be aware of and takes into account for her calculations of said plan against Metis

In addition to seeing Guinevere's reactions, seeing Arturia's actions, and more to Athena's words, when she talks about the Strongest Steel, which the witch refuses to believe, although what she sees, plus the reaction of her mini grail, indicate otherwise, leaving her no choice but to continue watching (and being curious about what it will be like when the Divine Ancestor finally meets Shirou, whom the new prophecy calls the Strongest Steel)
