![]() ![]() "I knew Zoro would follow because he is the responsible one." He would try to follow, sure, but would he succeed? If there is anyone Luffy should grab it's Zoro. XD Thank you for the chapter, I love this story! Happy holidays! |

![]() ![]() The Drums of Liberation Crashed the Gamer System!? This is some of the funniest, most creative shit I've ever read! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Updatteee |
![]() ![]() ![]() Okay, yes of course Luffy wouldn't care about the quest line even if he didn't understand it. And of course reality isn't going to let the strawhats stay separated for long even if it does require something a bit more heavy handed. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wow things are heading towards quite the showdown at conomi. This is a pretty interesting way to get Sanji involved. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Out of all the gamer fanfics that I've seen and read. This is by far the most enjoyable. Luffy being Luffy will never follow to the plan much less one that's restricting his freedom. Nothing in the world will be able to stop the beating of the drums |
![]() ![]() ![]() I have to say that this is one of my favorite stories that has a "Gamer" element to it, though probably not for the reason you expect. Most fanfictions that use the Gamer trope, along with many mainstream stories like Solo Leveling, use the RPG elements as a way to give abilities and equipment that the MC realistically shouldn't have. It can often break the tension of fights, since there is often little doubt that the MC is strong enough to just steamroll through them. To an extent, Luffy is the same here, only he ignores the whole system for the most part. The interesting part I find about your story is how you deal with the flip-side of an RPG-system: how it can constrain you. Since the system has a "Main Story" in mind, and Luffy is different from his canon-self, it means he is literally being railroaded into doing things he otherwise wouldn't. For a man like Luffy, who values his freedom, it would only piss him off, which I think is great. Between grinding the RPG-system to get ahead in life or actively fighting its limitations on you, I find the latter to be much more entertaining. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This is the most One-Piece fic I've ever read: the ham fisted approach to having Luffy and Yamato join at first was a bit much, but you stated it all plainly in the very first AN, so nobody can complain at all. Wonderful having Nika poke his head up in order to oppose canon as a thing that restricts Luffy's freedom. I just love Buggy as a talking head, and well done with all the character-building and interactions. It'll be lovely to see how you go forward, even if it's going to be a long while before Yamato or Luffy get an actual fight. Great Work! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Hahahah. I love this so much. This might be the most One Piece One Piece story I’ve ever read! |

![]() ![]() ![]() Million Plans Luffy. The man who out-thought an Admiral before he even hit the Grand Line. The most calculating of the Worst Generation. /jk |
![]() ![]() ![]() Yamato never really used her fruit powers often in her fight with Kaido, so I didn't consider she would be the dog. I was wondering why there was so much focus on the dog. Honestly I thought it was a spy sent by Kaido to find Luffy. |
