If you think about it, the gamer power would only nerfy Luffy's resistance, because he already increases his power from one moment to the next and during the battle also even when they leave him unconscious the vulve to get up to fight something that with the power of the gamer would lose his hp and could die, the only thing that could be saved is that you invent an ability, such as: ability will D: whenever the user can not hope to win the fight, his hp will never reach 0

I like the concept, but how old is Luffy in this first chapter? Because if it takes place when he was still with Ace and Makino on Dawn Island, I don't think he'd know moves like Gomu Gomu no Kane and Gomu Gomu no Gatling yet.

Also I can just imagine how confused Yamato and the rest of the Beast Pirates are going to be. Something like: "We keep killing this rubber brat every day, how the hell does he keep coming back?"
