Reading this story was a real pleasure for me as I had to set aside 3 successive fics because the necessity of having to translate the writers' prose into standard English as I read along became too onerous. This author did not commit battery on pronouns, conjugated irregular verbs, and knew when to use nominative and objective cases, even in complex sentences. Thanks for a good read.

well this is a pretty big point: muggles cannot see dementors

your reasoning for most things are paper thin and often ignoring the more obvious ones. that said plot seems entertaining enough

It was a different and interesting take on things. Liked it that Dumbledore was never told of the outcome. It was an apt punishment for someone who kept everything to himself to the serious detriment of others. Thank you for sharing.

Should ask Arthur to give up the Order as well.

That list is super weird for several reasons:

1. What about Sirius?
2. Most of the people on the list are not there to decide if that is the correct or right path for them.
3. Pamona Sprout? Really. I can see it if she were introduced as an important character at before this chapter but not even close.. and she was chosen over Sirius.
4. Luna’s father would have made more sense than Pamona Sprout.
5. Neville Longbottom also makes little sense as they haven’t had much interaction at this point of the story, like AT ALL.
6. Did he even consult with the literal Seer on the best people for his list?
8. And what about spouses and children? What if Hermione’s parents have another child? That child ages while they don’t. What about the wives of Fred, George or Neville? Or the children and relatives of any of these people really.
9. What about SIRIUS? His love interest at this point is on the list but he is not?

Not very much thought went into this list imo.

I'm surprised Luna isn't more put out that Harry chose Pomona Sprout over her father to be slated for a long life and peaceful death.

This story is well written and interesting, imo. The only distracting part is the overuse of italics for emphasis

I just looked it up, because I remembered something I have read some time ago: wild camping is not illegal in Sweden. The opposite is the case. They have an "every man's right", although it's not fixed in writing what exactly it contains. However, the right to access to nature IS fixed in the Swedish constitution, and limits to behaviour while camping belong to other parts of the law, such as nature conservation, or not intruding into private areas around inhabited places or land used for agriculture. Nature reserves can have restrictions as well, but the average Swede seems to really follow the maxim "do not disturb, do not destroy". Sounds to me as if common sense were the deciding factor for stays in nature, which I wished people elsewhere would adhere to as well.

But, Xenophilius can't know everything.
