W1tch0nParad3 chapter 18 . 6/26/2021 Great story. Love Luna's seer ability. Thanks for sharing |
Korlan chapter 18 . 6/24/2021 I like this story. Thanks for sharing. |
BerserkLittleCook chapter 18 . 6/23/2021 I actually began to pity Dumbledore at the end. Poetic justice is fine, but tearing his letter in front of his face (while we don't know if prisoners at Azkaban have a right to communication or not) and laughing to his face about him not knowing about Voldemort seems cruel |
BerserkLittleCook chapter 14 . 6/22/2021 I suddenly caught on to a parallel between evilDumbles and real-world evil hypocrite moralisers. It's like with covering up sexual violence by church hierarchy members: they say the assailant should be given a chance to repent and the victims would make their lives difficult, thereby claiming all action, accusation, witness reports and prosecution immoral in their narrative. The catch is that those people twist the Church's message of forgiveness and repenting to their own goals. In truth, forgiveness is a free willing letting go of the punishment by the victim, but the victim does have a right to demand that punishment be served. People do deserve a chance to repent but it should be given freely to willing wrongdoers and it should not go against the ruling law. TLDR: it is only good to give the wrongdoers a chance to repent if they ask for it and only if the victim is willing to do so. And even then the justice system cannot be undermined, the judge can decide to give a lighter sentence in face of a repenting, but it is neither a bishop's nor Dumbledore's place to decide that, since it's not their job to judge. And even if it was, they should still abide by everything said above. I'm not sure why I saw this parallel now. My brain is tired and I'm disgusted with Dumbledore, corrupting the very values I hold dear. |
BerserkLittleCook chapter 5 . 6/22/2021 It hits me what Fudge said. A Polish king once said "Who will rid me of this meddlesome priest?" and his knights killed the bishop in a cathedral. The bishop is now Saint Stanislav, one of the patrons of Poland. |
Nohe Cruz chapter 7 . 6/20/2021 Why is he worry of under age mágic if he was emancipated |
Saissa chapter 18 . 6/15/2021 Great story! But no further mention of the 100 years of near immortality for Harry and the 10 names he mentioned? If I remember rightly, they were - Hermione, Luna, 2 granger parents, Neville, the weasley twins, Dobby, Pomona Sprout and I think Susan Bones. I am wondering why did Harry choose Professor Sprout and Susan Bones? |
Saissa chapter 5 . 6/15/2021 Love the Muggle translation - The power is strong with this one... Never occurred to me before. But yes the force and magic are pretty similar, |
HoneyBear84 chapter 18 . 6/14/2021 Loved it |
noreenklose chapter 15 . 6/13/2021 Pomona Sprout? ? ? Boy, that sure came from left field! I do not understand your reasoning, but you sure pulled a BIG change-up! I almost got whiplash on my double take. ;-D |
noreenklose chapter 18 . 6/13/2021 Excellent story. I really enjoyed reading it. Thanks for writing. |
madie080802 chapter 18 . 6/12/2021 that was a fun read. |
missgsmith51 chapter 18 . 6/12/2021 "The problem for Albus, once he was thrown into Azkaban, was: How was Harry going to destroy the horcruxes and to defeat Tom without Albus's wise guidance?" I knew it! "As Dudley stepped outside into sunlight and freedom, he hoped Harry would be proud of him." The only Dursley to have mended his ways and adjusted his own attitude - Harry would surely be proud of him, I think. He now actually has a future ahead of him. The secrets Albus loved to hoard would prove to be his torment when people began keeping things from him. I really hope Thanatos lets Lily torment Dumbledore for his first phase of punishment. I hope it lasts a long time, and she is deviously creative in her punishments. Snape was pretty nasty to Harry - he deserves some "attention" from Lily, too - but he deserves to make Albus's Next Great Adventure miserable for Albus's many abuses of him. I wonder ... what became of Molly and Ginny. Hmmmm. Great story, Tom. Thanks for sharing. |
