This chapter was awesome! I'm honestly looking forward to Fury and Colson's reaction to this fight, cause there's no way they were not watching or at least recording lol. Anyways, I'm so happy to see that this fic isn't abandoned, it fills such a niche that's impossible to find anywhere else. The way you portray Yamamoto is also spot-on in my mind; not cruel, not unkind, but does not have time for foolishness.

I open for when old man Yama gets his sword fixed a phoenix freely gives a few tears to the creation process to rejuvenate old man Yama and give him his arm back. Now for a fight that will be hard will be the chitauri invasion. Let old man Yama unleash Bankai in outer space and slowly wipe out all the forces then has to survive the nuke tony sends into the space hole. Also, maybe even have old man Yama become the leader of the Avengers. Train them into something proper. Turn them into shinigami like he just started with Thor. Just this time he asks before he shoves his finger into their heart lol.
