![]() ![]() ![]() I feel Yamamoto isn't written of enough I'm fan fiction, so far his characterization seems pretty damn accurate. |

![]() ![]() ![]() Ooh, what a badass chapter this is. Yamamoto is definitely one of the coolest Bleach characters, even if a lot of people don’t realize the magnitude of his accomplishments. It’s cool that you fleshed that out and thanks for another amazing chapter! |
![]() ![]() ![]() My only wish is that the chapters be longer but other than this is really good. Looking forward to more. |

![]() ![]() ![]() Enjoying this so far. I never got into Bleach, but a brief glance at the character gave me the same conclusion as in your AN. Badass of badasses with an insurmountable will that puts Steve Rogers to shame. Given he had a thousand years to learn leadership of warlike persons, including teaching others to be leaders, I imagine he makes for quite a good companion for Thor in this moment of his life. He may be able to induce the lesson Thor so badly needed without having that abomination of a relationship happen, and without leaving Asgard without a worthy leader to take the throne from Odin. I hated the Jane romance. It never made any sense without overly anthropomorphizing Thor, a 2000 year old banking warrior Prince. A man responsible for the future of multiple worlds, including his own people. Who needs one day to have a child that can take his place. Doubtless Thor had dalliances with mortals far in the past, but trying to take one for a bride? that'd end about as well as a medieval Prince marrying a peasant bakers daughter and not expecting his relatives to contest their child's claim to the throne. It never made sense that that relationship was forced, when they had Lady Sif right there. Someone that could have ruled Asgard, unlike Jane, who couldn't possibly have ruled in a noble court whose machinations span centuries. In fact, Thor' s happily ever after with Jane would only have been a couple more decades before she dies, meaning the Court wouldn't have to kill her, just wait for the mortal to die then make a play for the next queen. Even the MCU out so little faith in that relationship they killed it off off-screen. Curious to see where this goes. Hope the Jane thing doesn't go passed the platonic stage. In fact, Jane could still be the impetus to Thor growing, but out of protecting a dear friend who opened his eyes rather than his heart. I could absolutely see him calling her friend and holding her opinion and brilliance in high regard, and feeling gratitude for the roll she played in his self-growth. much more believable. |
