What a fun, warm story. Looking forward to seeing what you've got planned next for these two. Only thing I would suggest is that Harry seems a little mature a little quickly. It's fine, but I have a little bit of a hard time seeing canon post-OoTP Harry acting like that so quickly. Again, just a minor thing, and I did enjoy this feel-good story.

Hm, interesting idea. The writing is good. I just dont like that sirius somehow stays around in harry's head. It would have been nice to see another character take on that mentor/confidant role if it is needed. To me, the idea of harry/amelia having to somehow work things out, and how that dynamic forms and evolves is the interesting bit and (for me) having someone in harrys headspace takes away a lot of the appeal. How present is he in this? Is this a Sirius is around and commenting all the time thing, or he only speaks at critical moments, or what? I might can deal with the latter, but not the former.

Anywho, like I said above, youre certainly skilled at writing and I wish you the best if I end up not following up with this.

I always think it’s funny the phrase “reverse the roles”. You have a 15-year-old boy and like a 30 some odd woman in this story. Reverse the roles. 15-year-old girl and a 30 some odd man. How does this story now sound? Ignoring the magic and all of that circumstance, could you honestly picture yourself writing a story about a 15-year-old girl and a 30 year-old man? Think before you write. There’s this crazy thing called aging up characters.

I'm not usually the biggest fan of the "Happy Harry" fics but this really has nice characters and characterizations as well as an interesting plot. The age difference does seem a little contrived at the beginning particularly given the age of consent in Britain is 16 but I think you did manage to keep them from violating that particular law even if you weren't overt about it. Overall a nice job on this story. I am curious to see what you do with the follow-up. Thanks for your hard work on this.

I just found this story. Never seen this match before, but I am old enough to know it isn't a problem. Could be a powerful match. Head of DMLE and Chosen One. Lots of help for both of them.
