![]() ![]() ![]() Someone on Reddit mentioned Storio (storioai dot com)—finally tried it. You can convert your stories into interactive games with character art and reader choices. Definitely worth a try if you're into writing! |
![]() ![]() ![]() A beautiful ending. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh. Ow. That one hurt... and I'm not even a fan of Boromir. |
![]() ![]() ![]() A sweeter side of Boromir that we really only got to see with Merry and Pippin... |
![]() ![]() ![]() You write poetry in prose. |
![]() ![]() ![]() As much as I enjoyed the entire installment, that last part really struck a chord in me. Reading *is* resting. I do freelance editing, I'm on deadlines, and I'm completely burnt out right now. You'd think I'd want to do literally anything else besides read, right now. But here I am, refreshing and decompressing my brain with your delightful insights into Faramir's captaincy. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Great job. Loved it. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This was simply beautiful |
![]() ![]() ![]() I really enjoyed all of the additional chapters. Well done! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I adore the line "Either that or he was fevered." What a wonderful blend of poetic and utterly practical! It shows a lot about Mablung's character in just a few words. And Eowyn thanking Mablung for what he's done for Faramir is perfect. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Thank you for yet another beautiful chapter! If I could favourite this story more than once, I certainly would. The love between Faramir, Eowyn and Mablung! becomes ever more tangible. It is a pure delight to read. |
![]() ![]() ![]() The Tolkien’s world, with which I fell in love at 12 or so, famously has no money and no sex, only love and treasure. By this point in life, with my own kids looking for jobs, I am able to appreciate the plot-building power of accounting much better. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This chapter made me laugh out loud...I can imagine Mablung’s face when he says “Poetry?”. Faramir’s dry sense of humour really comes through. And my favourite part is where he realises Eowyn might not be obliged to spend their married life in a tent. And Boromir is the bestest brother ever. Would it be very wrong of me to ask for many many more chapters? Just hoping! |
![]() ![]() Lovely understated look into these characters and their relationships with each other, |
![]() ![]() ![]() Thank you! I’ve missed Boromir and Faramir being family together. Hoping this particular story goes on and on and on... Your writing is very beautiful...I’ve been re-reading your old stories (the ones about Faramir and Eowyn I love the most) and some chapters are so beautiful and sad at the same time that they make my heart hurt. I will be glued to your updates...thank you! |
