Monk is SIXTY?!

For the first half or so of the chapter all I had to say was GO MONK! I was so very proud of him for reacting so strongly and kicking Peggy out of the house and out of their lives. What she wanted to do with the pictures was horrible but at the same time completely in-character for her, unfortunately. And then she and Bobby ran back to California to hide. Bobby isn't as outwardly ableist as Peggy or as snobbish but he's enabled Peggy all these years and if I were Monk or Natalie I would assume that Bobby felt that way about Asher, too. But I loved how Julie kept Natalie outside long enough for Monk to have the first shot at confronting Peggy.

Yay! Leland/TK bought a house a block away so now they all live in Boston. It makes me happy that the Core Four (Core Six) are all together again.

Bobby calling Monk after limited contact for so long only because he wanted something bothered me and reminded me of why I disliked Jack Jr. so much. Peggy might not know that her husband is calling but I'm sure she would accept Monk's help if it meant getting her out of a prison sentence. It's telling that Bobby's first concern is for how Peggy wouldn't survive in prison but also that their *company* wouldn't survive the scandal. If they expect Monk to figure out a way to get the charges against Peggy dropped or reduced after what she's done (the ramifications of the accident)…well, I hope Leland and Randy are there to advise Monk against that path ;)

Thanks for the fic shoutouts in your notes and acknowledgements section! The rest of 2021 into 2022 is going to be a good time indeed for the Monk fandom :)

Beautiful Chapter! I'd Like To Sit Here Aghast At Peggy " That Was Too Extreme" But I Can't. Fortunately Or Unfortunately, She's Spot On, Dead-Eye, Accurate In My Estimation. The Unified Rebuttal Was Amazing As Well But My Favorite Part Is The Cut To Black Scene, Mind Blown.

In this story Peggy was really despicable, good thing that they kick her out of their home. But now the game has changed and they need Adrian's help...let's see what happens next.

Man, Peggy is really something. Shame on Bobby for not saying or doing more. Just shows the realness that is out there. Monk and Natalie handled it very well. Now Bobby is calling for help? The family that the high and mighty Davenports are ashamed and embarrassed of is in need of their help. Peggy's drinking finally caught up with her. Now it is the Davenports on the receiving end. How very rich.

A great ending to a great story. This was a beautiful story in so many ways, and important. I'm thankful for the voice you gave to those who too often don't have one. The tease at the end was intriguing, and I can't wait for 10-3!

Oh Adrian, a little research on the internet would have save you from a little awkwardness...but it was very funny for us read it .LOL.
Besides begin fun these two chapters prove once again the love ( and passion) that Adrian and Natalie have for each other.
I'm so happy that Asher is finally at home with his family, otherwise, I'm not so happy that there is only one chapter left, but all good things come to an end.

I love that even ten years after the show has ended and five years of marriage, Leland is STILL the one that Natalie calls at all hours of the day and night to deal with Monk when she can't. Leland being completely willing to take Monk to the procedure so long as they didn't talk about it cracked me up :)

It is completely in-character that Monk's mom would have written him a note to get out of health class! Haha!

Monk being confused about what the surgery actually was and what he thought it would do to him cracked me up completely, but what I LOVE the most was that he was willing to do it all anyway for Natalie's sake for the sake of keeping her safe (and alive!). *happy heart eyes* I'm surprised that we didn't get any commentary from Randy about Monk going under the knife to get snipped, tbh. ROFL.

I love the nickname AJ for Asher Jonathan. Lee, Abby and AJ. (and Julie). Super-cute :) (And hey, Monk! Psst. Natalie has seven letters. Adrian has six letters. Julie has five letters, Abby four, Lee three and AJ two. Good work!)

Natalie has developed a nasty habit over the years of her marriage of running away from home when things get tough and I was very happy to see Monk call her on it, even though nothing came of it, as of yet. I find it a little hard for me to believe that Natalie would go to her parents house and that Natalie of all people would insist on Monk having that particular conversation in front of Peggy and Bobby. That being said, Peggy and Bobby are exactly who we thought they were and I thought Monk's way of handling the conversation (math and logic and percentages and figures) was so in-character for him and I loved that part :)

I also loved the parts earlier where he got an entire box of air filters just to go away and he inspected the car mechanic's work after he was finished :) Ha! That is very Monk :)

More laughs, but I also really loved the sweet scenes between Monk and Natalie, especially as he explained how much he loves her and was willing to make such a sacrifice for her good. Just lovely! The scene at the end with the whole family finally together was also tender and heart-warming. The image of Lee in his little, brown suit made me smile.

Whew! Is it getting warm in here or is it just me? Thanks for the laughs, as promised. Besides the humor of the situation, I also loved the romantic moments and seeing how very much Natalie loves her husband. Their love is beautiful and inspiring!

Hahahaha! He Would Go All The Way There With This Minor Procedure, Monk. Mi-nor. Hahaha! Oh My Gosh That Was Funny! At One Point I Actually Became Concerned, I Was Rolling My Eyes Like " Here He Goes" Then He Didn't Shut Up And I Went " Is He Okay?" ROFL. Great Work!
