Please continue this story! I really want to find out what happens to Riku and Wakaba in the next chapter. Do they fight the fire dragon and meet Kuro? Or a interlude chapter about the other reincarnations talking about Riku?

I don't know any recantation named Nagitsuji in the manga or anime series? Or is he another OC of yours?

I wonder if a healing skill is available? Other than just HP regen, but an actual Heal spell.
Seems like something essential to get if it's available, and would probably be nice to have for the new spider companion with their...clumsiness. Would make for some cute and funny scenes.

Really nice story, I like their interactions so far and hope to see this grow as a true friendship between the two reincarnates. How that relationship changes or transforms in the future is ultimately up to you.

Nice parallels as well, white and red to black and blue, logical and ditz, etc.

Anyway, I hope you don't feel too obliged to follow canon, I do enjoy stories that just go off the rails yet still makes sense due to the changes introduced by the new foreign element, which is our Basilisk here.
So making changes, either good or bad would be nice as long as they make sense.
Lots of work there, to change canon I mean, but would really make this a unique experience on top of our budding Duo here. Of course, don't feel too obligated as well if you want to keep the changes light or perhaps move things around so that certain elements stay the same despite the changes, or they got there because of said change, etc.

Anyway, bottom line, I like changes in canon due to butterfly effect, but this is also your story, so take my words with a grain of salt, and just know I love what's being written here.

The only 2 complains i have are with the MC not having any very distinctive personality trait other than angry eyes and the other is exposition (which is fair, considering that he spent most time alone) where instead of him saying: i like videogames, you could have him compare things to videogames and other media like anime he knows (real or made up, since he IS from a technically different 'different' world) as they go along and use that knowledge to guess certain things and tropes (to show how much he likes and knows of these things without explicitly saying it) to help progress the plot or for fun stuff.
