| tfuinsah chapter 11 . 4/16/2022 Honestly Natsu acts way younger than his age. He doesn't have the weariness or maturity of an old person nor the ancient feel that one would give after living centuries. He feels more edgy and more focused on looking cool than how someone who's lived centuries would act. This plus the fact that he doesn't act wild at all from being alone for such a long time is kind of weird. Humans aren't built to withstand that kind of loneliness, it just isn't the way they work. There should be some side effects, like constantly being wary against threats because he doesn't have others to look out for him, or a lethargic nature that allows him to pass time quicker. As much of a demon/dragon Natsu is his mind is still as human as the rest. If he willingly chose to have minimal human contact for so long he should have a personality that fits someone who would make a decision like that, not the curious extrovert he acts like. The reason I put so much emphasis on him being alone is that there are literally no characters that aren't from canon here, meaning he has no one else around him. He hasn't adopted a pet, doesn't have connections all over the place like a curious wanderer should or anything like that. Simply put, his character description doesn't match his actual actions. |
