![]() ![]() mc's that dont use stat points are annoying |
![]() ![]() ![]() Bruh wtf is this shit. Just kill them and stop dick riding yourself with your fake morally righteous persona, it's not like we didn't read you killing your friend to save yourself and it isn't like we didn't see you kill your mom for yourself, it isn't like we didn't see you kill a whole town of people for YOURSELF. I know they were reanimated but fuck sakes it just comes off as him being a coward with him talking like he's some hero, when in reality he can only think this way when he isn't in danger. It makes everything feel like he's just faking it. How can you be a hero when you're only selfless up to a certain point? Let's not forget about him killing cultists as easy as breathing but fuck me if one of them just begged he would of wussed out like he did that psychotic bitch, like you wonder when this kid and yes I say kid because even after all he's been through he hasn't matured or grown, he's just doing things to make himself feel better and not for the right reasons, like he always done. Doing things to make himself feel better is what got him in this whole mess to begin with, because only braggarts that want attention or to feel good/ important brag online to nobodies. Just when I think he takes one step forward, he ends up fumbling and takes three steps back. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Such a pussy, god. For a title as "The Most Dangerous Gamer" He's unironically weak in mind. It's frustrating reading an MC like this. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Is it weird that I kinda feel dissatisfied with the end of this story now? I guess it's probably because it's different from my expectations. If Kevin was a Self Insert, he might have taken over the Network and been more thorough and Scion(Zion) would have definitely been finished rather than whatever happened to it. Still a pretty nice story. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Hoo boy! Can't believe I sat on this fic for so long, not reading it coz I thought it'd be too depressing or grimdark or something. Well, it had its moments but honestly, it was pretty bearable and only got better. It's a fairly enjoyable read. I binged read it in a few days. Panda was my favourite character, but it's criminal how little her screentime was! This fic needed more Panda! I kinda spoiled the Ending by reading the Summary of the sequel but eh, it wasn't too bad. Honestly, the ending felt kinda lacking. Also, I felt like quite a few plots and events weren't given enough time and elaboration. But overall, it's a good read. An interesting take on the Gamer System by making it Shard-based. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Surprise surprise, yet again the MC wins by pure luck, aka plot armor. Was he strong enough? No nearly, was he smart enough? Not even close. He won because he got a perk in the last second, aka plot armor. Again. |
![]() ![]() ![]() "YOU HAVE MY WORD NOTHING WILL HAPPEN TO YOU" Your WORD? Load of shit that's worth. Anyway, I think I'm out of it, I just realized the system is for the gaming aspect at best, mainly to hide him which kinda works but doesn't, as for the usual power that comes from gamers? na. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Really... dangerous (sarcasm), so its pretty obvious he will only be strong at the end, kind of a let down since this just makes this story a steal fic of the original. Same world, a different micro plot but the same overall plot, just to save the author making his own world, I mean, almost none of the original characters are even involved in more than half the novel. The story is predictable, the MC can make the right decision and succeed or do something stupid, fail, then succeed due to luck and other people helping. It is a question what will happen? No, because it happened before, multiple times, and its just the same thing in different situations. All his powers? Mean nothing. Will he win? Yea, but you can say the same for all MCs. Will he do it because he was strong enough or smart enough? no. Overall, not great. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Damn, this is a bad chapter, it was so obvious this will happen, now he will lose his shit, either get almost killed while saving her or power up. i doubt she will die since the novel will die with her for most readers. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I kind of figured what bothers me about this story, he doesn't actively try to get powerful. It either happens due to quests, he mostly chances upon, or he does nothing to purposely increase his level. He is just level 25, Riley is 43, forget the big guns of the world. |
![]() ![]() ![]() So far he didn't really stop any of the big ones, even Butcher was more of a small bad. Is he going to be most dangerous gamer right on the last chapter? |
![]() ![]() ![]() The power progrssion of this novel is pretty bad, most of his ratings happened in the fist few chapters, then a slight move in 1-2 chapters much later and then nothing, its not gradual, he doesn't go from mover 2 to 3,4,5 over many chapters, it goes from 4 to 8 in one. |
![]() ![]() ![]() So the MC is not really even trying to escape, made stupid so he can't do it so the plot goes as it is... he was at least controlled I would get, like the others (not that I would read it). |
![]() ![]() ![]() He seems kind of stupid, not in the position to hord points, if he used them to increase his power drain he could easily use it to disable Jack slash shard, even if it will take a few days. |
![]() ![]() ![]() With how often Kev is injured one would think his regen would be higher level. |
