Reading this makes me want to watch the movies again but with the mindset that your story is canon. It would really change everything.

Hmmm I always thought the Weasleys response to Hermione was a bit off. Kinda like when people humor other ethnicities they secretly believe to be beneath them. It’s harmful and rude and condescending. I like the way it plays out here. Ron’s got that whole attitude down pat.

I find it hard to read fics about Hermione being a Pureblood with an attitude problem. Understandable that she was raised this way but there's still a part of me that hopes she will see and experience what it feels like to be in the other side of the Pureblood world. She didn't even bat an eye when Lucius imperioud her "parents". They may be muggles but they are still human.

I find Hermione to be very strong, I would personally have blow a gasket at 11, she has maintained a dual life during childhood, but now everyone is treating her as a muggleborn, and her family and support can’t intervene.
Harry is interesting cheeky all over but quick to defend his friends, I’m guessing that will somewhat endear him to her. But Ron gosh!.
I forgot how annoying and rude he was toward her in canon in the early years, the problem is that this Hermione knows he is being rude to her, which makes this iteration very interesting, I’m looking forward to to see how she handles him in the future.

Anyways, I feel sorry for the Grangers, they didn't choose this fate, Hermione shouldn't be angry with them. But she is still a child, she will learn.
I'm also starting to think that Dumbledore knows more than he lets on (he is known for that, old fart). If there was a prophecy about Hermione/Ivie for the dark side, who knows, maybe there was another one on the light side as well? It would explain why Dumbledore let her into Hogwarts. Better to keep an enemy close. I'm just curious how it will all develop.

I love this grey Hermione. I re-read the first chapter and realized that the prophecy could be interpreted in more than one way. It makes sense that that’s the only reason that Dumbledore hasn’t ousted her. He probably realizes that she can change the war in either direction.
