This was a beautiful story! I love how you pulled in Derek's mythical parsley chopping. getting Nathan and Elizabeth talking is for sure the missing step. I love how all the people closest to them setting them up and cheering them on. wonderful read.

Okay, so this was so totally worth waiting for a chapter of EC for. I do hope we get a chapter of EC before you post another chapter of Island Hearts though...

Bill is the perfect person to get Nathan to the Cafe. Probably the only one who could achieve it actually as I think Nathan would be suspicious of everyone else but Bill... Bill is Bill and he seems to have a knack for getting Nathan to do things he doesn't want to. I think Nathan would especially be suspicious of Allie suddenly want him anywhere.

But Bill just wants Nathan's help to cook a special dinner. I love that Bill just lets Nathan assume that dinner is for Molly. It probably wasn't your intention but I do think my favorite part of the story was the cooking scene. That was so Bill and Nathan and reminiscence of of the scene from the episode 7 episode where they are cooking for the Bachelor party (which I suddenly have a interest to go watch). Loved Nathan's reaction to Bill's - here chop the parsley. How hard indeed. And then comes the garlic - 'what you didn't like the whole garlic the last time we cooked"? I loved that line and can so see Nathan saying it. Looks like Bill learned from his last experience of having Nathan help him cook!

Rosemary and Allie decorating together - too cute! And I am not surprised you brought the plaque into the story at all. Nicely done with that!

I'm surprised they got that many people involved in the set up and nobody slipped up. Nicely done. And again - Bill was placed perfectly. Anyone else, and I say either Elizabeth or Nathan or both of them walked out. However Bill knows how to handle both of them just right!

I like that Elizabeth apologized. That was perfectly done and necessary after all that has happened. And of course, their friends are still around at the end of the night. Love the picture you pained of the four of them, Lee playing peacemaker and the ladies planning the wedding. I think Bill is right - they won't wait until spring - especially if you are the author of their story!

This is excellent! I like these "temporary endings" that people write or I dream up. Each episode needs one until Nathan and Elizabeth truly are together. Having you write this one is a treat because I love your stories.

I like how Nathan unknowingly helps prepare the food for his surprise date. I like how Rosemary and Allie move the plaque so Elizabeth will see it at the right moment. I like that he gives her time and I like that she comes to the right decision. I like that SHE asks him to dance, asks forgiveness, tells him she loves him, and kisses him. It's pretty perfect and I would like to see those Elizabeth initiated elements actually occur in the show. Thanks again!
