So delightfully Vetinari, from the musical body-painting to him trying to figure out how to fold the swan at the end. I usually don't like OC's, but you've done such a fabulous job developing Hanna that I wish she really was a Discworld character, so that I could see more of her. Excellently written, and fabulously fun to read. I hope a sequel will be forthcoming...? |

| Rainne chapter 4 . 9/6/2004 Firstly, wow. Secondly, wow. Thirdly, your characterization of Vetinari was pitch-perfect. I love Hanna, the bit with the paper-folding was a nice touch. I also enjoyed the little things you added that you didn't have to; how he had everything planned out so far in advance, swearing to Ankh-Morpork, "reading" music. And the image of hordes of women demolishing the Palace in search of the talented Patrician will stay in my heart forever. In short, wow. |

Hanna is so great! Is she an original charactor of yours or a 'real' seamstress? I've only ventured into the Watch sub-genre...so I still don't know many of the Discworld's charactors...Well...whatever she is I will deffinatly be reading more of her, for I will read all in this series you've created.
