Wow, it seems that Asgard's history, more so of Odin, is not buying that world any love. If Loki wants a target for his rage and magic...the siding with The Ancient One and that group would be a wise way to go.

Things are never dull with the lineup that is around Harry's life orbit.

Holy shit this is good, I have laughed out loud and gotten terribly emotionally invested in this already, excellent work.

Loki is not just bi or pan, but more Omni. seriously, read the lore. Loki is a shapeshifter. and has had children with many beings. one of his children is Sleipnir, the six legged horse that Odin rides. meaning Loki slept with a horse. a male horse, as Loki was the mother in this case.

Loki has been father and mother to some of Norse mythology's biggest monsters. including Jormungandr the world serpent.

now, i know the Marvel version is a little different from his norse counterpart. but a lot of the mythology was used in making his marvel self.

so loki is willing to sleep with ANYTHING that catches his eye. and is even willing to acknowledge the concept of consent... 80% of the time.

he is a good. consent is a mild suggestion to him. though he is still more honorable then Zeus, in that if someone tells him no, he is actually very likely to listen and accept the answer. Zeus would just ignore the response and sleep with them anyways. usually by shapeshifting into their spouse or partner.

loki's shapeshifting for sex is typically just to make himself physically compatible with his chosen partner, and not to actually trick them into sleeping with him against their will.

This is my second time reading this fic and I'm still obsessed with it!

Okay, this is a very fun story. There are a few hiccups caused by how you've merged the two universes together, but your focus on story telling means that these fade into the background.

I'm still curious about AoS Mockingbird 2.0 being de-aged (the MCU 1.0 version, now having been confirmed as being the retired Laura Barton). And while you have stated that you're retconing AoS for this story, it would still be fun to see some aspects of that woven in, given the younger characters. Perhaps, instead of Vision falling for Wanda, JARVIS (as a growing baby AI) could be confused about his growing affection for a certain young hacker who keeps trying to get past his security, so uses the only real examples of relationships he has to guide him... that being the absolute clusterfrak that is presented to him by the Avengers. Or have FitzSimmons somehow roped into the science side of things.

As for everyone's (eh, may be just people's) favourite Russian assassin in the MCU. Including her in the story is easy enough. From some of the lore I read, she was originally one of Black Widows regular villains. So you could bring her in as the highly talented younger widow who is annoyed about always being in the shadow of Natasha's (the traitor!) reputation. You can have her go all murder-death-kill whenever she sees the redhead, and all childish/carefree/flirty whenever she sees a certain someone who should be terrified of her... say Banner (Hulk, confused. Hulk smash, or Hulk 'smash'?), or Clint (My wife will kill me if I do; this widow will kill me if I don't), or even Harry (Stay away from my son!)

Certainly interesting so far.

I couldn't care less about de-aged Mockingbird though, especially given how she treated Harry at the start, so I'm hoping that pairing is no longer the plan (and that Peter/MJ is no longer the plan too) as I've no desire to see them even interact at all again.

So I'm definitely hoping it is Harry/MJ instead as the FFNet story tags indicate.

just stumbled across this story and enjoyed it very much. i really love the friendship between MJ and Harry. you captured her personality very well.

I really like the way this is going. Not everything is perfect in their lives but neither does it descend into an angst filled mess. It is too often one of the two, so this is a nice change of pace.

by this point you should just make it a Harry & MJ pairing

Interesting direction its going in, I like the exploration of trauma mixed with neat situational humor and would love to see more of that in the future!
Just as a sidenote tho, there were a couple mistakes in the chapter, like in the beginning while Loki was pacing you used bestialitya verb would be more fitting there.

still great to see this going again, and Id love to see how the dynamic between MJ and Harry continues, and also how Loki will teach harryno doubt mischief will be involved -
