I do think it's a but weird how much they trust that gold bar scam artist / gemstone- & antique-dealer. I mean they know he's willing to scam his customers (those gold bars with galleons in them aren't worth their weight in gold), so it would stand to reason he'd also be willing to scam his suppliers.

Seems like you've already schedules out year 6, so there's not too much point making suggestions especially wrt Melody's role in the Triwizard Tournament. But:
* with Harry's map it should be possible to find & interrogate the imposter if he's using polyjuice, unless perhaps it is Barty Crouch polyjuiced as Barty Crouch, seeing as Melody's memory is imperfect.
* I hope Melody takes plenty of precautions, following in the lessons of Salvatore. For example, try to destroy all the Horxruces and also ambush moldyshorts and destroy his mind, and also destroy his death eater base.

Chapter 40.

A bit "confused" about Melissa's plan here. Surely it's a better idea to give the Horcrux to Mr Black, or to the unspeakables or the aurors?
If you destroy one Horcrux, you have to find all of them. Yourself. As a child.
If you pass it up to someone with a good dark arts library, they're fairly likely to be able to solve the problem without any more help from minors.
There has to be a way to use an object that anchors a dark lord's soul - and contains part of their soul - to do something really nasty to them, much nastier than simply dissolving the anchor.

Reviewing at chapter 35.

You know I really liked they way they dealt with the Peter / Sirius situation. Melissa realised she'd changed the timeline too much to rely on previous happenings, left the hard/important work to a competent adult, they took precautions (more than strictly needed) and they solved the problem.

As I'm reading this chapter I'm worried she's reverting to the stupid baseline. (Which is quite common in HP fanfiction.)
She can't rely on knowing the future anymore. Harry's blood/fate-based protection that he had in cannon is gone.
She should share knowledge. She should get help. And she can.

And bullying in school going unpunished is seriously bad. And not normal. It's not healthy for bullies or victims. It can be, and should be, challanged.

Weird Melisa didn't do anything yet about diary-it is not like she doesn't know about it(Her memories are jumbled but Salvatore should still know about it)
