ErikArden chapter 61 . 11/1 Okay...so I have binged the entire story in about 24 hours (yay getting hyper fixated when I have things to do!). I Love the story, there were parts that threw me off at the start, but then I realized the time you wrote it at and the fact that the Disney shows lore wasn't out yet. Very well written story, I am curious what happened w/Maul, but I'm assuming that is part of what is in the sequel you're outlining right now. I Look forward to seeing what you do with that. |
Mr.Heller chapter 1 . 10/13 A pity I had to witness any part of that disgusting, putrid narrative diarrhea of the sequel trilogy. Gonna wash my eye after that, Thankfully it's a time travel and I won't see it again. |
Sword-of-Dusk chapter 61 . 9/27 I think you nail the hesitation Anakin would feel about seeing a therapist. From what I understand, many people have reservations about seeking therapy to help deal with trauma. Really good work there. You also really get that fierceness that Padmé exhibits, and that makes her a joy to read. As for that therapist, while it has been a long while since I've read anything from the Legends continuity, I'm reasonably sure she's a Zeltron. I can't recall them being canonized, so it's cool to see one used here, especially as a therapist. |
sadist34 chapter 56 . 9/22 My only complaint about this chaoter is that you skimmed over Anakin’s conversation with Padme. That moment was a tremendous turning point for Anakin’s healing and I was thoroughly looking forward to it, so that was dissapointing. I read this story initially up until chapter 50 was posted last year and then finally came back to it this month. I have thoroughly enjoyed the journey. Thank you for finishing it, and for beginning in the first place. Nothing better than a happy ending for Anakin. I am looking forward to the last few chapters. |
Dretnuh chapter 18 . 9/17 Bruh does her species even have hari? Tf you talkin about cutting her padawan braid? |
Dretnuh chapter 16 . 9/17 Not really the best argument there… “She’s willing to risk everything for it. But that’s not a path to the dark side.” Like I agree with what Luke is arguing, but the way he presents it…. It’s like yeaahhhh Luke… she’s willing to risk EVERYTHING…. That’s why it has the potential to lead you down a dark path. |
Dretnuh chapter 10 . 9/17 Bruh, why keep talking about bloodline like it’s this storied family history lmao. It’s literally just you and your dad at this point snd it shouldn’t even be the both of you. |
Dretnuh chapter 5 . 9/17 Why does he keep calling himself the last Skywalker…? He’s not the last Skywalker in either the time he is from or the time he is in… unless you are just referring to purely those who have the actual last name. In which case it isn’t anywhere near as grand as your making it count because if that’s what you’re going with, then there has literally been 2 fucking skywalkers so of course he’s the last one lmao. But I mean he kept talking about the Skywalker bloodline when he mentioned Ben…. And Obviously Leia is also a Skywalker even if she took on her adopted parents name…. |
Sable Dawn chapter 9 . 9/13 I would like to point out that Steela's death has no correlation with Luke's past knowledge, even if he knew about this from Saw telling him which he did not, he only got knowledge from Yoda, Obi wan and Anakin, who would not know the details going on on Onderon. |
Guest chapter 61 . 9/12 I wish there was a Bonus Scene for Ahsoka that confirms whether or not the Force still allowed her to train Sabine Wren as her apprentice in this timeline... |
princesselsaamidala22 chapter 61 . 9/12 Skyguy needs mental help. |
OdeClock chapter 61 . 9/12 I read this other Star Wars What-If that basically boiled down to a LOT of therapy for Anakin and him being in self-denial. So, him still having issues is such a normal thing. It's his personality traiteven as Vader. He put so much importance on his own righteousness that he never gave himself time to think of alternatives to his situation. Well, action those alternatives anyway. Sure, he fantasised about the alternatives (like when he bled the Khyber Crystal, just after his suit), but he just kept trucking along that foolish path. And it does boil down to deep seated issues he had as a child and none of it being resolved (properly) by the time he became a young adult. Not to mentionthe scars of war and the grooming he experienced from Palpatine. It will definitely take time. |
Ander Arias chapter 61 . 9/12 Well, wasn't expecting to see an update to this story, but it was appreciated. And yeah, Anakin desperatedly needed to see a professional. As for the therapist's race... well, given the hair and skin color, I can onky think in a Zeltron. Am I right? |
Guest chapter 61 . 9/12 Therapy takes years, but it does help. I love how realistic you had Anakin dealing with the fact that he needed to see a psychiatrist and the anxiety you feel at your first session. BPD makes sense for a mental health issue for Anakin. I would love to see more scenes of him visiting his psychiatrist, not just because she sounds like an interesting character. I believe it would help educate people more on what it's like to deal with mental health issues and help take away the stigma associated with them. Great writing! I loved it! Thank you! |
