I just realized its kinda creepy how Hiccup has drawn her without her permission… couldnt that be classified as stalking?

This was an amazing and unexpected journey, the waves of emotions and events were like waves pulling hard inside me. I don't have many words to add, but this does not take away from the merit of this story, which is a piece of art in itself, even if you already know that, the work you have done has been incredible, have a good life, it has been a pleasure to read this.

Oh that makes sense now. At first I was like wait a minute... Hiccups should still have his leg but in this alternate version he lost his leg differently okay, okay, this makes more sense.

This was very good so far! Great job, and I'm not sure if you realized, but if this is taking place before the movie, then hiccup still has both of his legs. But it's ok. Great job!

OK this needs to be said. They're Norse, or at least caricatures of a pseudo-Norse people, why in the hell would they have a Christian wedding? Especially, given that they mention several of the Norse pantheon, indicating they're not Christians? I know this is fanfiction, but come on. Even if you weren't going to write a real Norse wedding (which would, obviously, require some research), you could have done anything. Instead you for some bizarre reason made the characters Christian for one chapter.

Well this story has been fantastic. What a trip.
You captured all the best bits from the 3 main movies, added more romance, a bit of a different (more adult..?) focus and told this story so well that i kept diving in and reading more till suddenly… it was over..
This is the most compelling and outright enjoyable Hiccup and Astrid focused story that i can remember reading.
And the epilogue is the icing on top.
Seriously. A short review hardly does justice to how much i like this story. Thank you for your time and effort toward bringing this to life.

While it still leaves the alpha question for the giant nearer Berk (i assume), this quite the interesting set of developments…
Lol that bomb that got dropped on Hiccup… glad he took it well. It gave a serious chapter an uplifting end.

Okay, this story is fantastic so far...
I feel like there is a lot more to the story than the description lets on as thankfully, the story continues long past a simple answer to the questions posed.
For an alternative look at how things could have rolled out... this is a banger. I don't generally seek out stories that change the telling of good stories like How to Train your Dragon, but with this story... you made it work. And it's been a really gripping read with what feels like a more grown up spin on things.
In my eyes, this is a top tier fan fiction and I'll be sure to keep reading (and enjoying) the rest of the story.
Oh and, the ending of this chapter sure made me chuckle, especially after such a cute bath scene.

What will happen with your so-called "cliffy" is revealed in the fic's teaser/summary, even before the first chapter begins. Are you sure you understand the concept of a cliffhanger?

Haven't read that many HTTYD fanfics, but I can say that this book is a piece of art that many fans should be able enjoy. Keep being awesome, author!
