What will happen with your so-called "cliffy" is revealed in the fic's teaser/summary, even before the first chapter begins. Are you sure you understand the concept of a cliffhanger?

I am confused here... hiccup says "with his metal leg" bit since nobody knows about toothless that would mean this is happening before the battle with the red death, which meams he has not lost his leg yet
