Reviews for The Quintessence of a Queen |

readwritemm chapter 39 . 7/28/2022 Omg wow, this is such a great ending and story! So interesting to think of our queen as a historical figure…what a shock it must be for future historians! I loved seeing Taylor in Westeros and the politics and everything. Thanks so, so much for writing again! |
Kedavra Lumos chapter 39 . 7/9/2022 Took me a while to get around to reading this, as I have little knowledge and familiarity with Worm, and none with GOT, But a couple of years ago I did enjoy Quintessence, and today when I needed something new to read, stumbled upon this and just couldn't stop. Thank you for another excellent story ... one that increases the chances that I'll go studying into a new fandom ... maybe. |
tsougrhs.59 chapter 23 . 6/30/2022 hahahah first you let some random sellsword fuck the Queen like she is a whore and then you kill half her council ahhahahahaha Pathetic |
tsougrhs.59 chapter 15 . 6/30/2022 yea this chapter is trash and it seems to getting worse gunpowder weapons aliien ship and other shits in a world like westeros...a story about politics now is about weapons |
frogjg2003 chapter 32 . 6/17/2022 The typo about ass ice beams is hilarious. I'm just imagining a bunch of mammoths charging, then turning around and firing ice beams out of their buts. |
ArachnidHiveMind chapter 13 . 6/14/2022 I haven’t finished this chapter so idk if it isn’t what she ends up doing, but why can’t she just take a dingy in and then use the Force to punch a bunch of holes in the boats bottoms so they would sink. |
ArachnidHiveMind chapter 6 . 6/14/2022 Ok so in Quintessence, she obliterated concrete buildings and steel ship towers, why couldn’t she just punch a hole in the wall? |
ArachnidHiveMind chapter 2 . 6/14/2022 Darth Marrs is basically the master of fanfiction |
hont91 chapter 5 . 6/11/2022 ehhh... being honest I don't actually care for the story of GoT, don't even know canon except for 'everybody dies in pain and with the worst timing, especially anyone with a modicum of honor', so understand that I don't even care for canon, but just killing her seemed so wasteful, Taylor just taking up some grand quest to save the world was also kind of awkward, sorry but that's how it felt |
mst3ktoo chapter 23 . 6/6/2022 There's the suffering... |
A Eternity Of Nonchalance chapter 39 . 6/5/2022 Cool shit. Cant wait for the sequel. |
Creature chapter 39 . 5/28/2022 Hey DM: I've been a very long time fan of yours and used to comment more back in the day using this alias. Think I started reading your fics back in 2007, 2008 with the Ori Duology. It's been a while but I still read your stuff faithfully, though I usually wait until you complete a work to dive in. Very impatient I am, a testament to how gripping your stories are and have been for going on nearly two decades. Wanted to say I wasn't sure what to expect with this one. It's because of you that I found WildBow's Worm universe a year or two ago, which turned into a bit of an obsession for me. But mixing something so patently sci-phi with JRM's world? I've seen you take unlikely verses and slap them all together to create something greater than the two pieces, and I'm happy to say this one didn't disappoint. I was mad at first to see Kahleesi dead as I've always kinda had a fangirl crush on her, but you replaced her with someone more capable and yes, more mentally stable. The battles weren't as detailed as some of your other battles, but you still managed to pain a picture in my mind chapter after chapter as you always have done. Great characters, the baddies made me want to scream and the good guys were well written with flaws and weaknesses. All in all, I had to comment on the ending. Where the hell are you sending Taylor now. Clearly she went somewhere. Unless you're doing some parallel universe type thing, the SW verse died thanks to the Endbringers, right? So where's she going and when is that story starting? lol Anyways. It's good throwing you a message. Even though we've never talked a day in our lives, your stories have always made me feel some sort of connection that many other authors have failed to do. In fact, you inspired me a long time ago to really take my love of storytelling seriously, to grow and improve my characters and not to give up when it feels like I just can't write another word again. I'd even go as far as to say that you're one of my greatest inspirations, and who ever says that fanfic writers don't matter, clearly hasn't read your material before. As always DM, I hope you are well and safe during these troubled times. I'll see ya next story, kay? A long-time devoted fan, Kaylie |
javajunkie247 chapter 39 . 5/28/2022 I absolutely loved this story. Thank you! |
suziq968 chapter 39 . 5/21/2022 This was amazing! I binge read it and kinda want to just do it again. You keep surprising me. |
hjcallipygian chapter 39 . 5/15/2022 What a wonderful story. I really hope that you have chosen to continue this in a third part and let us finish Taylor's journey. But if you choose not to, then at least know I'm grateful to you for writing this. |
