Tony McNucklz chapter 53 . 11/14/2023 Funny, the blatant plot armor got lampshaded in the AN. Like that makes it better. |
Sicarius Claraflam chapter 200 . 11/13/2023 Quinn after literally going full Men in Black on, like, his uncle or something: Hehehe, PARTYYYY! :D |
Sicarius Claraflam chapter 180 . 11/13/2023 That bird will be important soon, I know it… you authors are so predictable, sometimes. |
Tony McNucklz chapter 50 . 11/12/2023 First thing to do in a Canon divergence is look at the other people close to the prophecied kid. Start with Ivy and Hermione, and work through the other Weasleys still at hogwarts, including Ron. Then go through the memory he got from ginny, look at who was near the fight that was still likely Lucius' cover to slip it to someone. there's probably a student close to what happened that got it. This isn't a big deal yet when there are still obvious people to check. |
Tony McNucklz chapter 45 . 11/12/2023 Why doesn't he want more than a lump sum, he should at least get a permanent percentage of the profits. |
Tony McNucklz chapter 44 . 11/12/2023 On the plus side, he could use being the creator to spy on correspondence. Be the big brother of magical faxes. |
Tony McNucklz chapter 44 . 11/12/2023 Ok, so I guess we're mundaneing the magical world. great. |
Tony McNucklz chapter 41 . 11/12/2023 Huh... absolute zero, as a tangible substance. That's actually quite scary. |
Guest chapter 128 . 11/10/2023 He likes milfs dosent he |
Tony McNucklz chapter 40 . 11/11/2023 Hah, played them like fiddles. Nit only did he have everything they've failed to make any progress on within seconds, he clearly knows kpnot just about at least fluffy, but exactly what they are looking into. More, if he knows all of that about flames, he clearly knew about the stone months before any of them. to them, Ron, and Harry, the strange second year clearly ran circles around the subject, did it a long time ago, and know what they are doing too. To impressionable children, he just placed himself into a similarly all-knowing category that Dumbledore likes to portray. They may even mention the comparison to each other. And it was cute that Hermione asked about whether his setup against the rules, and even more funny that he set a price on an answer, and more on the proof. That was quite humorous |
Tony McNucklz chapter 39 . 11/11/2023 Well, that was stupid. what's to stop one person buying them, copying them, then selling the notes to someone else to get their money back? or someone just xopying Padmas notes? he might sell a few, but each of them will get asked by friends to borrow or share the notes, and he'd hardly sell any compared to how many use each individual set. the same way Netflix lost their ass for years to having as many as a dozen people using a single account. This has potential, but not if anybody can use the notes. |
Tony McNucklz chapter 38 . 11/11/2023 Plus, given it was made explicitly clear he doesn't want answers handed to him an a silver platter, him getting the cheat code from a professor seems like a blatant deviation. It's not really him getting through the vault now, it's McGonagall. All he achieved was being able to survive standing there. I thought this was going to be the start of him having to struggle and get to an objective, and it was interesting right up until he went begging for the cheat code instead of working it out for himself. Bow getting through just won't feel like he actually achieved anything. sure he learned the magic, but it's been made explicitly clear since the beginning that learning magic, seemingly any magic, is never EVER a challenge for him. So just regurgitating what Minerva told him to do isn't an achievment, not for this character build. |
Tony McNucklz chapter 38 . 11/11/2023 So, I guess the reader isn't supposed to notice that McGonagall was strangely uninterested in inquiring as to where this ice he's messing with is? Nothing about his request at all elicited any marginal curiosity, despite him making it clear this is a real, tangible obstacle he's trying to overcome, one that clearly isn't part of aphis curriculum, since as it involves transfiguration, would have come from her? We're just pretending she would simply answer, and like a poorly scripted NPC, have zero self initiative nor interest in this strange clearly not-hypothetical conversation regarding topics that are clearly well beyond 2nd year studies? No loopholes or meta interference here, nope. |
Tony McNucklz chapter 37 . 11/11/2023 lus, maybe this will make him master using heat or fire to get through it. Making him very skilled at manipulating heat. And the next vault could be heat based, requiring mastering wielding the concept of cold. just a guess. |
Tony McNucklz chapter 37 . 11/11/2023 Huh, maybe the magic he has to learn to solve these puzzles is one of the major gifts of them. Being able to warm his blood like that has obvious survival applications, even day to day comfort uses. he never has to feel cold again in normal climates now, even when not dressed for a chilly or frigid day. |
