Very good story, read 30 chapters in less than two days, hope for a new chapter soon, really wish this story would stay Harry/Daphne.

What you wrote is theft, plain and simple, im sure the MoM has its corrupt laws but no pureblood would support a law that allows the ministry to take their property, the building, sure. everything in the building? fuck no, imagine if all the potter wealth was stored in the home. does the ministry keep it? the potter library with all their secret family spells? the portraits? heirlooms? im sorry but harry should have just said "i dont care for recompense, the ministry cant keep my stuff" and sue them.

Loving the story and this was a great first task.

My only quibble and it is a small one is that in canon in the first chapter of Half Blood Prince (The Other Minister) the muggle Prime Minister recollects all his meetings with Fudge and during the meeting stated to be right after the Quidditch World Cup incident (i.e. well before the start of the Tournament) Fudge states that he has to inform the Prime Minister that they are importing 3 dragons and a Sphinx for the Triwizard Tournament. Since there is no other meeting mentioned regarding dragons this means that the three foreign dragons are the ones intended for the tournament and the extra one for Harry must be a native dragon, in other words the extra dragon is the Welsh Green. So if there are only 3 champions then they should get the Swedish Short Snout, the Chinese Fireball and the Hungarian Horntail.

I hope you keep this story alive. It is a good one.
