Was good while it lasted

I have absolutely loved this fic. I’ve now started reading the Alanna the Lioness series and it is fun seeing the similarities and how you changed things. I can tell why having 2 Georges could have been confusing. I hope you are doing well in Taiwan (if you are still living there, who knows what happens in 2 years), and I would love to see more of this if or when it gets updates! But please, take your time, and know that we all understand that it might be a while. We can and will wait, and even if this is never finished? It’s already amazing enough as it is. This is probably one of the best HP stories I’ve read! Also, if you ever decide you are never coming back, whether because of JKR or something else, I would appreciate a small update note telling us (so I don’t keep coming back here to check once a month for the rest of my life). Though, from what I’ve heard, big breaks like this aren’t unusual for this series, so I am interested to see what’s next, whenever that happens :) I hope you are doing well, wherever you may be, but goodbye for now!

Just came to check if you had updated in the last months (I get no update emails from ff net these days) and got stuck in another reread. I just need to glance at this fic and it always sucks me straight back in

I love this series so much, I keep rereading it every now and then and I just noticed that its been two years. I know life can be pretty occupying, and you can never predict what it demands so I hope you’re alright, Violet Matter.
At the same time, this is one of my favorite works of writing. It gave me so much more than I thought I could take from reading a fanfcition. I have so much love for this universe you’ve created, and I will always keep enjoying it no matter how many times I read it.
I have no right, but it would make this random reader unmeasurably ecstatic if you could update, or at least reassure that the story is not abandoned. Even a chapter every two months would be magical.

Oh no... Was that Flamel's house ? Also, I would be very surprised if Pansy doesn't understand that Harry is Rigel, I mean Harry really messed up. So I've been reading this series again for the I-don't-know-how-many times again and it is still sooooo good ! It's been two years so I hope you're nicely settled in Taïwan now and you'll have more time to write (one can always hope). Anyway thank you for this amazing work !

GOD i haven't read this in forever but holy shit. It's so good, so fucking good, and there's SO MUCH. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I actually had to post on reddit to track it down for a reread! Fucking hell. The curiosity of where it goes from here is ENDLESS. Mine primarily rests in snape and leo. Also with how strongly it's implied Harry is going to keep being rigel to support the movement! Harry seeing Snape both in context of the apprenticeship and the Order sounds WILD. I feel like, of everyone, he's the most likely to put it together. I have no clue if you plan to continue this but pray one day you do!

I hope nothing bad happened to you. I know you haven't posted anything since moving to Taiwan. I love and miss this story.

I read this series probably in 2022-2023, it’s wonderful to reread it in mid-2024. Hope all is well for the author, and anyone else reading the fic! 3

I just binge-read all four completed books over the last three days and am now *dying* for an update for book five! This is the most captivating story. The world-building feels so immersive, the laws of magic make me want to research them myself, and the characters are perfectly imperfect and now live in my head. This series combines two of my favorite fictional universes and is somehow even better than the sum of its parts. murkybluematter sending lots of gratitude & encouragement your way – I hope you're still writing!
