Wow, when you revealed the expy of the Killer Rabbit of Caerbannog, I thought the author's note at the start was a joke about the movie, then I got to the rest of the chapter and I understood what you meant.

I'm now really hoping that the next chapter is posted as soon as possible (no offence to you as an author), because commodus here has proven himself so vile that I just want to read his downfall sooner rather than later. This is going to leave me hanging for a while.

If you're taking suggestions on his punishment, could you make it something so total that, as you stated in the chapter, there is no way for him to come back, but it is also extremely slow and painful? Just something that feels on the same level as what he did to those Huntresses. I may not have liked them very much because of their sexism, but nobody deserves what that thing that calls itself commodus did to them.

And as someone who read the PJO and the HOO series (not the trials of Apollo, although I read a quick summary), I can state with 99% certainty that Neo Diana is Piper Mclean. Hopefully her memory can be restored and reunited with her father.

Beyond that, I get the idea (although at this point it's only a theory) that Artemis, with her blatant sexism, mass murders and huntress bias, also with the way her huntresses are getting taken down/denouncing her/etc, is being built up to be one of the 'big bad's minions' secondary villain that gets taken down before the big bad that is Zeus, kinda like how Perseus back then is convinced that Hercules is one of the deities he'll have to take down before he can take down Zeus.

Wait...are you setting up for Neo Selene and Neo Diana to share the power of Artemis in their usurpations, killing Artemis in the process, if she proves to be another deity that Perseus needs to defeat to kill Zeus?
I don't know, and I'm fine with that, right now I'm more focused on reading about commodus' death.

Nice chapter as always, but time to wait over another month for your beta(or is it yourself?) to go over the version of chapter 30 on p atreon. Its like why is this the sole story that has to wait for the next unbetaed chapter in order to be published?

As you indirectly predicted, Commodus is no longer my favorite villain in the story. This was indeed a tense and powerful chapter. However, given the warnings you posted about how dark it would be, I’m a little surprised you never gave Rico the spotlight to mourn his sister’s fate.

Praying that Jackson messes up the evil plot so bad that the games end prematurely and that they dont need to suffer through all of the other tasks

Wow, these centaur are even worse than the ones in your Harry Potter story, though PJ is generally a rougher world supernaturally speaking. Even the watered down canon version.

The Panther and Rico connection was an entertaining surprise. I kinda hope she makes it, bad as her first impression was.

If I had to say one thing for Commodus, he seems to be doing his best to irritate the Triumvirate team as well as Percy's. Still a very hate worthy man though.

Given that a pretty sudden and consistent element of this chapter was defilement, both in the lose your virginity sense and the rape sense, and that all the virgins have been forced to wear doe (that symbolise purity and innocence) parody outfits. It feels like we're heading towards some kind of mass defilement, either in the sense that they're going to lose their minds and attack those in animal outfits, or just be outright raped, with the symbolism being channeled into the Artemis stand-in that Commodus is keeping close, who seems like she's either a former Huntress leader or someone tied to Artemis' story. Feels bad man.
