I'm dying for an update! I love this story. I still check it out every time it's updated on Checkmated, but I'm DYING to know what happens next! It's been a month since we've got some new material! I love your style of writing, and you have wonderful original ideas. Can't wait for more! :)

Love this- but I am DYING for an update! Have you fallen off the face of Fanon? Are you still there? This is cruel and unsual punishment to not update for so long after suddenly making Harry back away and go all cold. I NEED CLOSURE!

This is wonderful, I finally get to review your work. I've been following it on GT but after the message I figured I'd better try and find you elsewhere so that I don't lose this wonderful story. By the way, I've noticed you haven't updated in close to a month. What is the hold-up? I'm in agony here!

That's still one of my favorite lines in this fic (right up there with the "Boy Who Was About to Die" line). I've read this story at least a half dozen times so far and love it each time.

This is a magnificent story, truely enthralling. Your quick as lightning plot twists (such as Harry's change of heart) are not only intruging but do not seem completely out of place as in so many other stories I've read. You've talent in writing as well as realistic plot plotting (meaning events are not random happen for a logical reason, foreshadowed or otherwise, at a logical pace). I urge you to continue and update soon as I cannot wait to see how this situation is rectified and what exactly was said to Harry by Dumbledore to make him belief he was endangering Ginny (for that is quite obviously what is being conveyed). Luck

I've already reviewed this at SIYE, but I've read the story again since and don't think I did it justice the first time.

This is currently my second favorite H/G fic, surpassed only by After the End.

You've written a story that's quite captivating and seasoned with plenty of humor to take the edge off of the angst and heartbreak. I literally laughed out loud several times as I was reading this the other night...my husband thought I was nuts. I giggled at the thought of Arthur Weasley being turned into a Canary by the Canary Creams. The chess figures are quite clever as well. Too funny. Not to mention Ginny's internal descriptions of Harry, (such as the "Boy who was Daft or the Boy Who Was About to Die"). You've created a completly sympathetic protagonist in Ginny and given her spunk and wit instead of making her too giggly, girly and daydreamy, as so many H/G fics seem to do. She seems wise beyond her years, which is consistent with her characterization in OOtP. Harry is, of course, thick as a brick, which also seems fitting given the way he behaved around Cho in OOtP.

I was nearly brought to tears when Neville hauled Ginny away from the Gryffindor table to protect her from Harry's waspish verbal attack. He's so stalwart, and Ron and Hermione's loyalty to Ginny are touching as well.

I truly hope you find the time to continue this story. Chapter 12 would actually make a decent ending, though a terribly bittersweet one. I want to know what led Harry to reverse his pursuit of Ginny. And what's up with Susan? We haven't heard from her in a while after her last intriguing appearance - hope you pick up that thread soon. And the phoenix...I want to see more of Ginny working with Maeven, and in particular, the thread connections between everyone. Has Ginny's to Harry become stronger?

It is all so well written and well thought out. And just for the record, I love the whole chase scene with Srthur turning into a canary, etc. It's so very Weasley-ish, isn't it?

This story is amazing! I couldn't wait for updates on Checkmated so I sneaked over here to read more, and I'm absolutely awstruck. There are just not enough stories like this, well written and so real. Can't wait for more!
