Hey, it seems like such a shame that you haven't updated this story because it seems to me to be one of the best Ginny/Harry stories i've ever read and its obvious that you have or had some sort of vision for this fic.

If your anthing like me, your reasons for not updating might look like any of the list below:

a)Reality of real life has caught up to you

b)Disillusionment with your storyline/ship/fandom

c)Lack of inspiration

Whatever it is, i doubt that after two years, going on its third, that my desire for you to update will be successfull but a person can hope right? :) Which is why i'm adding this to my story alerts anyway. :P (wink)

this story is full of so many good things. as a journalist we learn to write at a certain level that the general public will be comfortable reading. sometimes i'll read a story and know that the writer is younger, maybe not very experienced, and not too concerned with subtleties or nuances. sometimes it's obvious that the writer is very intelligent but not necessarily bent on telling a story that appeals to everyone. the story may be bogged down with superfluous detail and jargon that easily confuses the reader or unnecessarily complicates a piece.

but this story flows. your writing style is such that i never feel detached. i never feel that my understanding is insufficient. still, nothing is truly spelled out. harry is an enigma unless we read him right. ginny is open and honest with the complication of being human.

and you write such good characterization that i could easily excuse a weak plot, but i don't need to with this story. it's seemlessly brought together so that the emotional and physical threads weave a story that fits like a matched pair of gloves.

so, thank you. your writing inspires me. i keep coming back to it and i'm glad, even if you never finish it, for having been allowed to read it.

I'm awed by how powerful your story is and how it makes people truly grateful for everything they have. You story brings a reader through such a whirlwind of emotions and moods - it's rather astounding.

But really, I love your humor the best. It makes me feel that with a bit of laughter, everything could be solved and that's all that matters.

Please update soon, I've seen your story on so many favorites' lists, community recommendations and I'm rather remorseful that I've only read your story now.

This is so awesome. I've been stifling my laughter for the last half hour, afraid of waking my kids. You've captured the characters wonderfully. The joking about Harry's parents and the Weasleys and Remus' mustache is hysterical. I love Ginny's little insights into how precious friendship is and how she needs to act like she loves Harry by being his friend. Love and lust are very different things. You have your characters learning to love.

I also appreciated the part about Ginny praying for Harry after seeing him first year. It's easy to imagine that those prayers could have begun the connection.

I also love the way you've affirmed that life is too short to waste not getting along, not demonstrating love. Especially regarding Percy.

This is one of the best fan fics I've read...and I've read a lot. Thanks so much for sharing it.
